The pool

We loved just about everything at this location. We've been before and this time booked for a longer stay. We love the staff and the pool and the view out to the river. The cocktail bar and the food samples in the afternoon is a great idea. It's a wonderful experience. Breakfast eggs are awesome and freshly made.

There are not a lot of 'western' breakfast items such as hash browns, grilled tomatoes, baked beans (was only available one of the 5 days). It's not a deal breaker, but would be nice to have :)

Staff was friendly and helpful. Food tasting was really nice. Location is very good.

Shower in bathtub was not comfortable. Room is a bit dark and the view from balcony was limited. On the pricy side.

The hotel exterior is beautiful, with very nice pools and great views of the river, which makes the place quite relaxing overall. The staff were generally very nice and friendly, although our departure ended on a slightly strange note. A lady on the reception insisted that we had taken a laundry bag from the room and didn’t want to let us leave until it was “resolved.” We obviously didn’t take it — they simply hadn’t looked for it properly. I’m honestly a bit puzzled by the obsession with laundry bags and room cards here in Vietnam, but that part felt unnecessarily awkward at the end of our stay.

What we unfortunately disliked the most was the humidity in the room. It was extremely humid, and the bathroom shower has no window or ventilation, which makes the problem even worse. After a while the whole room feels damp. Next time I’ll probably spend more time checking whether the room has proper ventilation or a dehumidifier rather than discussing missing laundry bags at check-out.
