Vinh Hung Riverside Resort & Spa

This resort is on one of the islands, easy walking distance from Ancient Town. They were devastated in the November floods and are still recovering, so the facilities were not quite up to scratch. The tourist dollar will definitely help them get back on their feet. The rooms were very comfortable, plenty of space, which included a couch, huge bed, ample wardrobe space, air-conditioner, and a great, roomy shower. The staff are really friendly, and so helpful; my travel buddy was unwell, and they checked in several times with water and to make sure they were okay. The resort has two swimming pools, an onsite restaurant which serves a fabulous buffet breakfast, and they also offer several complimentary activities for guests. I highly recommend this place, whether travelling friends, singles, families, it is a great place to stay, and this was my second time there. A couple of local attractions that are easily accessible are Bamboo Circus and Hoi An Memories Show. Both excellent, and within walking distance if you don't mind the walk.

There is nothing I didn't like. My room was a little musty, due to the floods, but they did their utmost to fix the problem, even offering me a better room.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, das Frühstück ausgezeichnet, das Personal nett und die Anlage sehr schön. Die Zimmer mit Flusssicht sind geräumig.

Der Fitnessraum ist schlecht gereinigt und unterhalten. Es hat viele Geräte die nicht funktionieren, zudem ist der Raum sehr ungepflegt. Es fehlen Matten um darauf zu liegen, die defekten Geräte sollten entfernt werden und und bei den Kabelzügen sind die die Seile sehr mangelhaft. Diese können reissen und sollten schon lange ersetzt werden. Für ein 4-Sterne Hotel in dieser Preisklasse ist dies nicht akzeptabel. Unterhalts- und Gartenarbeiten sollten nicht in aller Früh vor dem Fenster der besten Zimmer gemacht werden, da sonst die Gäste um 06:30 geweckt werden.

Breakfast by the river was such a joy to wake up to. The service of all the staff were amazing and there was always a great selection of food.

Restaurant and pool areas were nice and well maintained

Rooms were basic especially the bathroom and one of our rooms had a terrible smell.

Very friendly staff. Great position on the river,close to old city and night market. Complimentary boat trip each evening. Hoi An speciality foods to sample each afternoon. Staff put on a New Year's Eve Gala night which was charming

Beds has a plastic coating which was uncomfortable and the sheets slipped off. Decor in the room was a bit dated

Loved our stay! Great location, walking distance to the night market and the old town but quiet and lovely to be right by the river. Excellent room size. Enjoyed the daily local food tastings, well priced cocktails, beautiful swimming pools. The sunset boat cruise was enjoyed by our whole family. Staff were friendly and relaxed and really helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Hoi An.

There are the most fabulous staff at this hotel; beautifully trained. The manager is the most charming, highly experienced person who is a joy to spend time with. We were caught up in the monsoon and monumental flooding. Everyone was so kind and helpful- they really went above & beyond. Tea on the lawn is enchanting. The rooms by the river are the best.
