Inverary Resort

It’s a beautiful property with many options for out door activities such as kayaking, boat rentals etc. There’s a lovely indoor pool, sauna and hot tub that are a welcome treat after a very long drive. The restaurant and pub we pleasant and the food was good. The breakfast buffet was a nice start to the day, especially looking out at the water and boats.

Paid 299 per night, bathtub not cleaned with dark circle, tub wall very dirty looking, toilet paper not in rack but on top of toilet lid so I have to put it in, bed sheet so wrinkled as if not changed, and room only gets cleaned after 2nd night not the 1st day. Should have checked reviews before booking, people had complaints as well. checked other rooms, very smelly had to hold breath. Stayed 1 night in Silver Dart Lodge nearby, 100 less better and very clean bathroom.

Couldn’t fault the hotel and accommodation A super warm welcome when we arrived Clear information about what was available on site indoor pool etc I chose to swim at the lake which was gorgeous We ate in the lakeside restaurant Service excellent and food was amazing

The room had an unpleasant smell. ( ?mouldy carpet ) The air conditioner was so loud that it kept us awake. Lots of light coming into the room. The mattress and pillows were like grandmas old ones. And the bathroom!! So funky. The floor had a downhill slope. I filled a water cup the next morning and the colour was cloudy/white!!! Maybe that’s ok but it’s not usual so we wouldn’t drink it. ( if ok would have been good to know) We ate at the restaurant and it was really nice. Staff at the front were very helpful and friendly. Overall we had a really bad sleep and had to drive 7 1/2 hours the next day. Wasn’t ideal! The place is very big. Maybe we got the low end accommodation..
