Good garden at the front.

The entrance can be better. It’s tucked away in a lil corner. A couple of times we missed the exit as the entrance was so narrow. Ha!

Service and breakfast was great

Bed was uncomfortable and could feel the springs or frame dodging into my back. The chair cushion is diminished and hard to sit on.

Is this a good hotel? Sure. Facilities are modern, the building is clean and tidy and the service is good. It is..... at best, a quality beige experience. Nothing bad, nothing amazing, everything as good as it should be. You can't do wrong with this hotel. Considering its location though there's a few things that would make it better. Planning with parking would be good, as like many others I drove here straight after getting off the ferry. Got an EV? This would be a perfect location to have a charging capacity at your hotel - something that there's increasingly more of in the state. The staff are friendly and accomodating, and the facilities are excellent. It's telling however that I didn't take any photos of my stay as I usually do. It didn't so much feel like a hotel as much as a nice liminal space.
