The guy at the front desk was nice.

The curtains didn't even cover the length of the window! We had to use the comforter to block out the light outside and have privacy. The pillows were like pancakes. There was a strong cigarette smell in the room, it was so bad we took a car air freshener and hung it from the ceiling fan (which had the THICKEST layer of dust). No screen on the window, so no fresh air or ventilation. The floors turned our socks and feet black. Hair was all over the shower. MOLD on the walls in the bathroom. Some brown stain on the wash rag. The paint inside the microwave was peeling off. Would absolutely never stay here again. Spend the extra 20-30 bucks and go somewhere else. This place is the worst of the worst.

The staff were friendly, but also commented on the hotel's condition as skeezy. They recommended their nicer hotel -more expensive- down the road. There's no AC, the rooms -of which I was moved to two- were dirty and there was no escaping the cigarette smoke in the rooms, because you had to have the window open for air. Though the front desk staff members were friendly and provided me a refund receipt about ten minutes after checking in, I never did get a refund. I had to dispute the charge with my bank. Thankfully, after providing the receipts for the charge and refund, my bank was able to reimburse me immediately. I still had to wait a month, but the hotel would not respond to my request for help and Expedia actually wouldn't help me either. So, maybe reconsider using Expedia in the future...? Honestly, if you book directly through hotel it's usually cheaper.

It's an acceptable room to stay in if you need some rest after driving Highway 101 all day. It's not fancy at all, but it works. My room was very spacious, but there wasn't a lot of furniture, and they have the TV situated way too far away from the bed (like 25 feet). You'll have plenty of space to do some square dancing if you want, but you'll have to squint to see the TV. Hardwood floors instead of carpet. A lot of roadside inns are going that way these days, but I don't particularly like it in a motel room. You'll have a hard time finding anything better on the Oregon Coast for $100, so it's a good deal.

The fact that people were yelling and you could hear it very clearly
