Glenghorm Beach Resort

This was the darkest hotel room I have ever been in. Two small table lamps in addition to the bathroom light. The one window was on the sidewalk so no privacy if you left it open. Very disappointing experience.

Front desk was good. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Eco friendly, since you are in a dark sky designation you should have lights that don’t shine up.

The Glenghorm is very tired and only a shadow of its former self. Our bed was literally about 30 years old and very hard and there was almost no water pressure. This was discussed with staff with no resolution. Breakfast is not included and costs $15 per person. Regrettably this was as disappointing as the room. The selection was very poor and we literally had to make our own pot of coffee in order to have coffee ;-( Yikes Sorry folks, this is a thumbs down after paying $209 for a night.

We booked a double room and they upgraded us to a queen suite near the beach!! Loved it!!

Pet friendly. Clean. Entertainment in the pub.

Beautiful resort and area, friendly staff. Beautiful room with wood ceiling. Some obvious dry rot on about 5% of the ceiling though.
