Glenghorm Beach Resort

This place was decorated in early college apartment. Not as advertised. Two minute walk to the beach? More like two minute drive. Restaurant was closed for dinner.

Beach and reception/helpfulness were excellent. Beds in the motel need new mattresses. We felt like we were sleeping on a box spring!

What a hidden gem. Our room was very clean and comfortable. A short walk to the beach. The dining was incredible. I had the best seafood platter ever! It was loaded with mussels with huge scallops and shrimp. The pasta was full of delicious smaller scallops and shrimp. Incredible! My wife enjoyed her haddock dinner. After supper we went downstairs to the bar and enjoyed live music. We would certainly go back again!

Beautiful property on the ocean. Old dated rooms, and not sound proof at all. However it’s a decent price for the night.

Every thing was good but they should have there restaurant at the resort it would be more convenient for us

Good location, friendly staff

The best part about this property is the private beach. The access to the beach is easy and the water is clean and swimmable. The room was as advertised, I found the bed to be a bit on the firmer side but the sheets and duvet was clean and comfy. Did use the restaurant on the property so cannot comment on it. Our room had a tree cover in the back which blocked all the sun and provided extreme privacy which was superb.

The property is an old beach motel that the owners have improved, but the facilities are not up to the standard of many comparable places we stayed in Nova Scotia. The service was friendly and helpful. The property is located on a very beautiful, long and sandy beach. It is not far from restaurants and other services.
