Glenghorm Beach Resort

This place was lovely. Staff was great. Beautiful sandy beach. Our room was very spacious. We would absolutely book here again

I’ve been traveling to the Cabot trail for decades, the area itself is somewhat remote with no adjacency to city centres but the scenery is unmatched. We stayed in cabin F, had a coffee maker and fridge with a bbq available for each room in the cabin. It’s a minute walk to a fantastic beach where you can catch a pretty fantastic sun rise. The sunsets behind the property over the water which is also beautiful but to see the sun come up over the cliffs with the keltic lodge and Cape Smokey in the distance is pretty amazing. There is a restaurant on site we didn’t get a chance to stop in but it close to some great little stops along the trail.

Affordable, clean, not the best property from the inside but everything works, good for a 1-2day stay, night vibes were litt, live music was great

The property and location were both excellent. The staff were also very friendly. The bar & restaurant in the evening were well staffed and the food was good. We also had live entertainment and he was very good. The location near to the beach was superb and we enjoyed the morning walk at the beach. The only negative was the breakfast. The choice was poor, the only hot food was tinned sausage and powdered scrambled egg, these were in short supply and we had to be quick of the mark as the sausages arrived in batches of 6. We were a party of 5. The hot water urn was tepid at best. The breakfast was not value for money.

Very outdated, no access to the beach

We do like staying at the Glengorm we have stayed there a few times before over the years and really enjoyed the resort, but the room they sold us this time was not worth the money (way ovepriced). and the reason that I say this because the room had a bad smell the TV wouldnt work I tried every way I could think off but we didnt go there to watch TV so it wasnt a big deal and there was no micowave in the room also the other times we stayed there breakfast was inclued so overall we were disappointed

Room was OK and clean, but dated. Easy access to the Water saved the day for this property. Dinner in the hotel dining room was below average. There are many better choices nearby.

It was nice being f eight by the beach. Property could use some maintenance. Rooms could have better lighting and updates bathroom
