Lovely place
We enjoyed our stay overall. The rooms are a little outdated, but very clean. The only downside was the indoor pool is not heated and the hot tub was boarded over and not usable.
Amazing
Hotel Front Desk Manager, owner of Barkley (didn't see her name) was phenomenal. Very attentive, accommodating and knowledgeable. All other staff we talked to were super friendly. The window looking over the water was filled with condensation, needed to be cleaned so we could see the sunsets. Also the AC wouldn't run at night so the room was too warm during the night. Dinner in the dining room was very good. Definitely come back!!!
Older resort but very clean and quiet. Pool was out of service for renovations.
Maybe play up the rustic nature of the cabins. Also ‘shared cabin’
The cabin we stayed at was old and dated in need of a renovation, there was some sort of family redoing on so there was some singing till the eee hours the breakfast was absolutely the worst I’ve ever had , putting a really lot of sauce on something doesn’t make it good it just make it worst with a lot of sauce , and inquired about the orange juice before ordering and was assured that it was of a high quality, but that tasted like watered down tang I’d like to give you a better review but I have travelled a lot and this was one of the worst places that I’ve stayed at
Stayed in a duplex cottage that is older but updated and was good. Restaurant on site very good with views across the water.
Cottage is very rustic, which is fine but wasn’t worth the money in my opinion. We were locked out of our room within 10 mins of arriving . We were only given one key and the staff had no idea where the master key was. Sadly we had to wait for maintenance to arrive with the master key. No compensation for the inconvenience . Also no information provided to guests that the doors automatically lock. To me this is a serious safety issue.
Outdated decor, limited menu, slow for food to come out.
