Hotel Cielo Rojo

The friendly check in experience. The atmosphere throughout the hotel. The incense burning throughout the day and the candles on the stairs at night were a really nice touch, never seen that before. Lovely and unique decor. Friendly restaurant staff. The rooms were very clean. Loved that there were facecloths (so few hotels in Mexico seem to provide them). Water jugs on every floor for guest use. Very clean. The earplugs in the room (amazing). Comfortable beds with nice clean and good smelling sheets & pillowcases. Our family of three adored this place.

We didn't get warm or hot water:( We had a really long day of travel (8 hours of driving straight) and then went right to the beach until well after sunset. We all needed a shower and the water got barely warm. Even in the morning the next day. This was unfortunate. Also, the "extra room" my daughter and I slept in was more like a balcony, the walls didn't reach the ceiling and the roof was palapa style branches so it was exposed to outside, we were very cold and could also hear the music from every direction in the town. Just a warning for those who are arriving unaware of the room that has this feature (you can probably ask for extra blankets during months where it's colder at night).

everything was great the only thing is the pool is like a block away it closes at 6pm and it is shared with another facility. hotel has no parking but other than that staff is great food is great.

Lovely place. Room beautiful, comfy. The complimentary breakfast fruit parfait and coffee definitely a plus. Small, quaint, charming place overall. Beach walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

This is the third time that I have stayed here, it’s a beautiful building, has a delicious and healthy restaurant, cool art and decor, and they even make their own tequila. No pool but you can use one nearby and it’s steps to the beach anyway. Highly recommended.

Nice stay

We enjoyed the hotel and the yard where the pool was located. We had a very small room by the front desk. Things quieted down by 11:00ish. The breakfast fruit was tasty!

We stayed here for a Valentine's getaway and loved it! Everything about it is clearly intentionally curated. It was so beautiful. The room was lovely, though a little loud in the morning, but not bad at all for the location. Very convenient to everything in San Pancho though a short walk (about 8 or so min) to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful and our meals there were lovely. There is a pool but it's not on the property so it's walk to get there. Overall it was a little smaller than anticipated but makes up for space in charm. The property was well maintained, tidy, clean and artistic in a unique and pleasing way. Most relaxing place of our 3 different accomodations in San Pancho. A very sweet place to stay.

The staff are all so nice and helpful. The hotel is charming and the fact that there is a continental breakfast included every morning in the lovely courtyard was a big plus. The restaurant staff were excellent. The beds were comfortable. We had air conditioning but didn’t need it. Hardly needed the fan.

It would be a plus to have more hooks in the room and also hangers. There was nothing we ‘didn’t like’.

I love this sweet little boutique hotel, exceptionally kind & accommodating staff, fabulous food and sweet access to a private pool nearby. We had the suite which was over the dining area-expect noise from the kitchen, local chickens,roosters & a barking dog. Always happy to return!
