The Waterloo Bay Hotel

I loved how nice the rooms were. They weren't perfect but for the price you pay its more than I excepted. The staff members were great. When we mentioned our problem they were quick to resolve the situation to make our stay lovely and comfortable. I would give 5 starts overall for the rooms and price. We ended up getting upgraded to a apartment room and it was beautiful.

Hard to get hold of someone in reception is rang 9 times and my husband rang another 5 times before we had to go in and find someone to help us due to an issue with our neighbours in the room beside us. I can't gice 5 starts due to the issue of reception being impossible to contact and the situation that went on there (no fault of the hotel).

The room was comfy a little outdated bathroom could do with a refresh but all worked well and priced appropriately. Walk to dinner, walk to the pub, able to watch the footy in multiple areas and then just a little walk to the bottleo. Short drive to the water front.

Carparks not numbered for the rooms but not a huge deal we still got a park near our room

Booking room for Good Friday & couldn't get in. Reception obviously didn't set automatic key machine before closed office. Stayed there many times & eaten at pub. Was always great. Won't stay there again. Haven't even given us a refund yet like they said they would. My emails have gone unanswered. Book thru booking.com.
