Lovely scenery. We stayed in the 3 bed self contained cottage. Clean, tidy.

It was mid winter when we stayed so won’t be an issue outside of these times - the fireplace is huge and even though they say you don’t need much firewood, you do if you want the downstairs to be warm (plus one bedroom). There was firewood you can get which is fine. The 2 upstairs bedrooms get super hot (so best to keep those doors closed!).

Absolutely amazing beautiful place. Such a great stay . The meal was outstanding. So nice to have our own private place. But then to be served in the dining room to a three course meal.

No shampoo or conditioner in bathroom. And no milk..... couldn't make a cup of coffee in morning.

We stayed in the Stablehands cottage. It had almost everything we needed. Lots of thought has clearly gone into making it a comfortable stay - especially for families. There were a few bulbs that didn’t work (or we couldn’t find the right switch for) and the coffee didn’t appear to be coffee - but those were really the only faults we found. Communication and directions from staff were excellent.
