Loved the location as was in the countryside. Welcomed by friendly dogs and chickens! Very comfortable and warm

More attention paid to the finer touches such as ensuring laundry detergent topped up. Shower gel would be a good addition. If I recall, it says that toiletries are provided. I’m sorry if this is incorrect.

The log burner was great

The bathroom had no heater or extractor fan, also Mould on floor, shower fitting moved when touching exposing open wall. Floors uneven and make you feel seasick. One chair broken, fire door handle broken, view that was described (lake view from terrace) was actually a view of a man made pond through a lichen covered broken fence. The statement in the info text to go Straight to the property was unwelcoming (basically don’t come to The lodge) there was no contact with anyone and my reply text about dinner went unanswered. The whole estate seemed unkempt.
