Would have been nice to have basic coffee, tea & sugar supplied and shampoo. Big bottle of milk but nothing to use it with.

A few basic condiments would have been nice. Comfortable bed upstairs, neighbours smoke alarm went off and woke us in middle of night.

Fantastic farm cottage stay in a quiet, authentic, country location. Very clean and very comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Log burner style fireplace that made the cottage so warm and welcoming. Surrounded by chickens, cows, and other farm animals. Perfect relaxing property. So good we didn't want to leave!

Directions to the cottage could have been better. Maybe a simple line-drawing map would help. Parking was a bit awkward. Not sure why each cottage didn't have a designated area, there was plenty of room to do so.

Great relaxing setting. Lots of grounds to explore. Love how it was dog-friendly. The staff (who we met on the grounds) were lovely and friendly. The host even dropped our cable off for us in Christchurch (as we had forgotten it). This is above and beyond customer service. The fireplace was set and easy to use.

Understand it is a self-check-in farm stay and like any farm cottage, do expect a few blowflies however, there were a few in the bedrooms before we arrived, which my partner cleared up when we arrived. Appreciate short of staff but can use a stick vacuum to clear an hour before guests arrive. Otherwise, the place is lovely and comfortable and do recommend.

I thought the problem with the 'flies' was unacceptable. Yes a note to suggested there may be flies and they were to be expected in the district. However i believe they are a result of something dieing in the roof as there was a critter of some sort in the roof cavity over the single room. Creatures weeing and pooing attract flies. I am not talking about a couple of dead flies, they were in the shower, on all of the window sills, on tables, on the vanity and on the floor. These made for a very unpleasant experience.

The rustic charm. Sitting around the fire was a bonus on a cooler night. Great night enjoying the old world charm.

LOCATION WAS BEAUTIFUL ,HOUSE JUST LOVELY WITH TEA AND COFFEE PROVIDED.ROOMS REALLY NICE AND COMFY BEDS . STUNNING GROUNDS TO PROPERTY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR MORE THAN ONE NIGHTS STAY AS WE WOULD HAVE LOVED TO JUST SIT IN THE GARDEN AND RELAX

NOTHING JUST PERFECT PLACE TO STAY.TO SOME IT MAY BE A LITTLE WAY OUT OF NEAREST TOWN
