Hotel Prince de Ligne

After one year from out last visit we traveled to Teplice and stayed again in this hotel. This is our favorite place in this part of Czech Republic. Great location just few steps from downtown, very nice renovated hotel & restaurant with excellent cuisine and friendly personnel. This is the number one place to stay if you'll visit Teplice!

I have booked this hotel on route last minute. I arrived at the hotel 04-06-2019 around 20:30 and received a warm welcome of the lady at the reception. After check in the girl from reception guided me to the car charging point at the rear of the hotel.(safe parking with gates and camera) After some minutes we got the charging machine working ha-ha Was just in time to have some dinner and a drink ! Food I had was very nice (wiener schnitzel) Room was very nice and clean, only downside was that the room did not have airconditioning....but room cooled down during the night. Breakfast simple but good. A very nice hotel in a lovely small town/village. Extreme friendly staff - Especially at the reception desk! ....Wish i know her name as she deserves to be named! When I am around i will 100% visit the hotel again.

The Hotel Prince de Ligne is situated in the direct center of Teplice, next to the zamek, close to the Dum Kultury, the theater and the baths. The rooms are nicely furnished, the breakfast is small but good, various eggs are prepared on demand. The females at the reception are very nice, the rest of the stuff is less interested in the guests. Room service is till 21:30, though coming back to the hotel at 21:28, they still prepared me a soup - an absolute plus!

Since 2013 every September me and my wife traveled to Czech Republic and spent few days in hotel Princ de Ligne in Teplice. It’s amazing how this hotel changed in this time! Renovated rooms, completely new restaurant and great cuisine under new chef! Located in the historical center of town you can walk anywhere. Highly recommended! Looking forward to be there next year again!

Great hotel and great location, staff do their best to deal with any issues and always a nice welcome. Room was lovely and overlooked the square. Do like visiting this hotel and will be visiting again soon.

I was pretty disappointed by this hotel. The owner and/or manager has overinflated the star rating, this is by no means a 4 star hotel, but rather 3 star. No air conditioning, the room must have bee 40 degrees (Celsius 90f), it was unbearable at night. They provided a very cheap fan that did little to help the situation. With all the windows open there was no cross breeze either, just loud noises coming from the square. Internet access is terrible and so too are the sheets and pillows. No choices for pillows, no down comforter like you would expect at a 4 star hotel. Did not sleep at all, it was too hot, too loud. Even the mini-bar fridge did not work to get a cold bottle of water. I have no idea how the hotel has garnered so many good reviews as this place is very dated and just average at best.

This place is like a home from home when I visit the Czech Republic. As always the welcome is always warm and friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable to stay in, looking forward to my next stay already.

Stayed here many times and each has been lovely, all the renovations are now finished and what a lovely place. Nice welcome when I checked in and despite it being out of season still a great place to stay. Lovely location to get around. Looking forward to my next stay in two weeks.

Another hotel we keep returning to the dinning is fabulous Czech food at its best. The soups particularly are fantastic. We always have the room opposite the square a large bedroom with a huge lounge room it is living like royalty. It is clean and fresh with great staff. Highly recommend if ever you are in this part of the world.
