Hotel Prince de Ligne

This hotel is ideally situated with a short walk to the town. General areas are modern and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I was allocated room 308, a single room which needs modernising and it was dark due to the scaffolding outside the window. Breakfast was minimal but adequate.

I stayed here for six weeks. The building was very nice and well-situated in Teplice, but I encountered a few issues. Most of the problems were noise-related. For a few nights (this is in winter, by the way) there was a high-pitch screeching noise coming from the walls. I believe it was some problem with the pipes and probably with the low winter temperatures but it was almost impossible to sleep for a few nights. Other people in the hotel could be heard complaining the next morning. The other problem was the banquet facility. There were a couple nights where celebrations or gatherings would go until early in the morning and the sound would wake me up and keep me awake. Poor etiquette by the staff by letting the parties go so late, in my opinion. Other than that, everything else was average.

Stayed recently and despite the hotel undergoing renovations the stay was lovely. As always the service was exceptional and food was great value. Lovely location and everything is in walking distance.
