Crystal Suites

Our group of four booked an apartment unit, which is basically a two connected corner units with living rooms and cooking area. The space is great. The rooms are clean. And the price we pay is tiny. Location of the hotel also looks quite nice, next to all those 5-stars hotels. Staffs are also super friendly.

The place is overrated... though the staff are super nice but the quality and cleanliness of the place is not great. The room was nothing like the pictures... the items in the room including the kettle and cups are super old (I asked them many times to change them with no action). They do not have access from the parking to the building so if you are in heels or wheelchair you will know what I am talking about. The breakfast was not fresh and the food they served was canned food ( al kasih hummus to be specific)... the funny thing is that it is not hard to find fresh in Jordan so why do they serve such crappy food I do not understand. Though I only sleep in the hotel, I think I ll cut my 6 night stay and find another place. I feel dirty all the time cz of the sheets and the dust everywhere.

I have stayed at the Crystal twice now and have not been disappointed. But I would like to share a story that showed the importance of going the extra mile. Some years ago I came to Amman looking for a colleague who had been admitted to an Amman Hospital following a collapse near to Petra. On my arrival at the Crystal, I explained to the receptionist my reason for coming to Amman and he asked the name of the hospital but I did not know it. He immediately started phoning ALL the hospitals asking if my colleague was there. Eventually, success and they were able to put me through to speak to him. I asked if he wanted me to bring him anything; he asked for a pack of playing cards. I had no sooner repeated his request than the receptionist called the bell boy over to him and told him to go and get a pack of cards. That is what I call service. It may have seemed a small thing to him but it has stayed with me as testimony to the standard of customer service I have yet to see equalled anywhere else I have been to. Needless to say my stays there have been a joy and would wholeheartedly recommend the Crystal suites for tourist or business travellers finding themselves in Amman.

Great place. Spacious and clean suit style rooms. 2 TVs, sofas, very comfortable and large bed and a quality bathroom. Recepsionists were fast and helpful for our Amman city and Petra tours. Location is also good 7-10 mins taxi drive to city center. Furniture, decorations, lobby all good taste and quality. A really great value when we compare what we paid for sub par hotels in Tel Aviv. On the down side WiFi connection and breakfast are sub par

Price is good but room are small and showers are extremely small. Nosey corridors and you can hear people talking. Breakfast is very poor selection with overcrowded seats and tables. There is nothing close by but taxis are available. I was happy to checkout from this hotel and get much better hotel for the same room rate.

We had a bad experience that cost us about USD $30 made from the airport since the pre arranged transport did not turned up. The staff at the Queen Alia Airport visitor counter eventually help. We are ever great full to her. We found out that the prior booking made through Hotel.com had been cancelled and the booking transferred from Crystal Suite to their sister hotel, Crystal Hotel. This situation is uncalled for. Hotel.Com is responsible for this. The rating I made above is for Crystal Hotel. The staff there had made our stay confortable given the circumstances we were in.

The reception has the willingness to help but they are not trained. Room reserved for late arrival but it was not ready. Rooms are dark and very old

Not clean

For a 1 night stay during a layover in Amman, this hotel was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay an easy one. They organised everything for me, such as airport transfers, a trip around Amman on the way back to the airport and gave recommendations of where to eat and drink after I had arrived late. I could not have asked for more. In the surrounding area there are a few other hotels and it is just a short taxi ride into the centre of Amman. This hotel, especially it's staff, was perfect for my needs.

We really enjoyed our stay! Four of us had a two bedroom suite and were very satisfied with the value for money. Highly recommend.
