Udaigarh

I had a really lovely stay at Udaigarh Hotel. The room was very clean and full of charm, which made it feel both comfortable and special at the same time. The rooftop terrace is absolutely amazing, with a beautiful view over Lake Pichola – the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The food was also very good, and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive throughout my stay. I would especially like to highlight one thing: before arriving, I had already paid for my stay via Booking.com, but I had completely forgotten about it. When I checked in, I told the staff that I would like to pay immediately since I had to leave very early the next morning. Later, when I passed by the reception, they stopped me and informed me that I had paid twice and that they would refund the amount to my credit card. I really appreciated their honesty – that was truly impressive! It’s a pity that I only stayed for a short time, as I would have loved to experience more of the hotel and the city. One thing to keep in mind: cars are not allowed directly in front of the hotel due to a restricted zone, but there are plenty of rickshaws around that can take you there if you don’t want to walk. Overall, I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.

Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Schöne Dachterrasse mit gutem Essen, entspannter Poolbereich, der teilweise etwas zu gut besucht war. Trotzdem sehr entspannend, vor allem, wenn es sehr heiß ist. Ich hatte ein sehr schönes Zimmer im mittleren Geschoss. Alles tipptopp sauber.

Nichts, für mich war alles in Ordnung!

Top-Terrasse mit sehr gutem Restaurant, dazu ein herrlicher Pool.

Ich habe ein Zimmer im EG direkt neben der Reception gebucht, an sich alles da und ok aber sehr dunkel. keine Fenster und schlechte Matratze.

Beautiful heritage hotel in a great location. It’s right on the lake, easy, walking distance to local attractions, the location couldn't have been better! As it is in the heart of the old city, hotel is accessible by few minutes walk ( from the closest drop off point by taxi) or by Tuk Tuk. The views from the rooftop restaurant are incredible! Pictures don't do the justice :) The breakfast was delicious, especially made-to-order omelettes and pancakes. Dinner in the evening, local cuisine, was delicious. Restaurant is very popular so don't forget to make an enquiry for table booking as we arrived and the restaurant was fully booked ... but than A huge thank you to the staff! as they were very kind and helpful and made an extra space for us :)

Situated within the fort, which is a lovely location. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room had a magnificent view over the city. Just a short walk the city palace museum and the seven Jain temples. We had a really great time in Jaisalmer, made extra special by our hotel.
