The friendliness of the staff, the rooftop restaurant and pool with the lake view which was perfect at sunset. Walking distance to everything you need to see in Udaipur.

I found the bed a little too firm. (I’m sure others would love that though)

Nous avons adoré notre séjour de 3 nuits au Udaigarh, l'hôtel est situé dans la veille ville effervescente, tout près du City Palace. C'est un havre de paix après les visites de la ville et des environs. Notre chambre était charmante et confortable. Les différentes terrasses de l'hôtel proposent un restaurant et une piscine avec une vue magnifique sur le lac Pichola et le le Lac Palace. La piscine est un vrai plus (il faisait 36 degrés l'après midi).

Seul bémol, notre dernier jour, des ouvriers travaillaient autour de la piscine. Cela était gênant pour toutes les femme présentes. Les travaux auraient pu avoir lieu après 18h30, heure de fermeture de la piscine.

For the price i would have expected a breakfast like most other hotels of this quality. The grilled fish was frozen ot fresh and was tasteless it needs taking off the menu it let the other food there down.

The common parts of the hotel are nicely decorated and it has a great location , with a lovely roof terrace with views across the lake. Breakfast was also good too, but I stay in a hotel to be comfortable and to sleep well, which wasn't the case. I would have given a lower rating but the reception manager was helpful and refunded me the 2 nights that I didn't want to stay there.

The bed wasn't comfortable and I wasn't happy with the cleanliness of it either. The room had no sound insulation so you can hear toilets flushing etc from the other guests and people talking as they go up and down the stairs to the terrace. I arrived late and didn't know that the hot water is a central system and not individual and only works between certain hours( if you lnow you can request that it be turned on ) , so I had no hot water either. I've slept in places for half the price that are clean, have comfy beds and individual water heaters, so this was a big disappointment.

We loved this hotel, its staff, the location and the view from its rooftop restaurant at sunset was sublime - originally we intended to eat at other places but nowhere would have had a better view. The rooftop pool had an equally great view, loungers were almost always available. Food was good, cocktail/mocktail options plentiful. Whilst it was early we always went up to eat at 6pm, so we could see the sunset as we ate, although we could have just watched it from the pool and eaten later.

If I had to put a downside then it would be the noise in our room, it was right next to reception so got all the noise from people coming in to the hotel. Another minor consideration is the general area, it's not accessible to cars, only autos, not a problem for us though.

Très bien situé. Splendide vue du lac depuis la salle de restaurant. Personnel attentionné.
