Nice place to stay in center of city with amazing view and good food

Had a great 4 night stay. This hotel must have one of the top 5 views in Udaipur. Having breakfast, lunch and dinner on the terrace with a few beers never got old. The hotel and restaurant staff were great. Special shout out to Rakesh M for being attentive and making sure the cold beers kept flowing.

We liked the swimming pool, the included breakfast.

We stayed in room 106 and we were disappointed with the comfort of the mattress, mattress certainly wants to be replaced due to wear (springs). The rooftop restaurant food was good but the ambience of the rooftop was spoilt by the noise level of at least one large tour group most evenings and sometimes two large groups.....so we ate elsewhere for dinner.

We stayed at Udaigarh for 4 days, and the highlight of our experience was definitely its prime location. Situated right in the heart of the old town, everything is within walking distance, which made exploring extremely convenient. The staff was courteous, attentive, and very helpful throughout our stay. Initially, we were allotted a room near the reception, which was slightly noisy due to phone calls and conversations. However, as soon as we shared our concern, they promptly shifted us to a room on the third floor that was peaceful and much more comfortable. The rooftop view is absolutely worth it and adds to the overall charm of the property. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the centre of town with easy access to all major attractions.

There’s nothing major to point out, but just for awareness — since the hotel is located in the old town, cars cannot reach the exact entrance due to the narrow lanes. However, the staff is very supportive and helps with luggage transfer, so we didn’t face any inconvenience at all. Still, it’s good to know this in advance.

Room was small

This hotel had a great location for the stunning lake views and proximity to some of Udaipur's main attractions (City Palace and Jagdish Temple) and we found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, charming and comfortable, with a good level of cleanliness. We especially enjoyed the sunset drinks and meals at the rooftop restaurant with amazing views. We had a great stay in this hotel and would not hesitate to do so again! An important detail is that this hotel cannot be reached by car only tuk tuk, as the streets are the small and narrow streets of the old city. In our case, our driver dropped us off at a (not too far) parking place and we then took the rest of the short drive to the hotel by tuk tuk. For us this was not a problem, but perhaps this detail could be added somewhere on the hotel website.
