Stone Soup Inn

The lady running it was rude. The light fixture shocked me. The fire alarm went off at 230 am and woke us out of bed. The left side of the bed was broken. I left a review on Google and they tried to bully me out of the review by calling me a bully. I answered it honestly and I didn't need to go tell them anything like the person who responded to my review said I didn't tell them. Tell them that the fire alarm went off, tell them the bed is broken that is their bed, tell them the fixture shocked me that is their fixture, I didn't say anything because my experience was already ruined by the lady running it. But I was supposed to go down and say something or it's not what happened apparently. So odd. Then she said my husband thanked her while coming down for breakfast that was provided. My husband was being kind because he is, not any other reason and doesn't like confrontation. We planned on moving on from the experience and never going back. I'm allowed to leave a review and an honest one. No reason to ever lie on a place we once enjoyed that was ruined.

The lady that checked me in was super sweet, and the place was very cozy and comfortable. Beautiful rooms, with awesome jacuzzi tubs.

The staff was very rude. The bed was broken. I got shocked plugging my phone into an outlet. The fire alarm went off at 3:00 am. It was a disaster for our special occasion.

the snow was the only unexpected thing.. unfortunately was minus 17 Degree Celsius a harsh cold outside for walking around , otherwise would have been even better. But it was all perfect, Mrs. Laura lit the fireplace and the house is soooo perfect to stay and feel at home.

The structure of the hotel is very beautiful. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast service was also excellent. We definitely recommend it

I loved the style, decoration and distribution of the apartment.

Maybe it could be a little tricky for handicapped folks because of the amount of staircases.
