Villa Wastra

It was such a big luxurieus place in the middle of nowhere. Very quiet, it felt Royal. Very nice staff, very nice rooms, Abundance in quietness.

No AC, but no need, because it quite cool. Lack of proper restaurants even at a scooterable distance away.

the room is fantastic, very big and very classy. it could easily be described as a 5 Star room. very clean with great views.

the room service is a bit difficult. a few misunderstandings but mostly because of the language barrier. they try really hard to please.

it’s a small gem in a perfect location so comfortable and the view is amazing the stuff was awesome bed was amazing and the view so beautiful!! if you are traveling around Bali or you want to get away from the crowds that’s a perfect spot you can walk around the area for hours it’s so beautiful

Villa Wastra was great. A lovely old Balinese house in the middle of the jungle, we enjoyed just chilling as a family. It is not really close to anything but we had our own car so that is how we wanted it. The staff served us excellent breakfast (included) and a nice home-cooked dinner when we asked if they could. Very relaxing and will go back!

There was a slight miscommunication when we checked in, so one of the rooms was not ready when we checked in at 5pm, but that was quickly sorted out without issue (it helped that we were the only people staying in the villa that night).

This is a beautiful, traditional Balinese home that has been adapted for travellers. It looks as though it has grown up out of the jungle. The rooms are huge with a hot/cold water system for drinking with a full sized fridge and microwave. Breakfast is extensive. The walls are so thick you're insulated against the usual noises of dogs barking and roosters/hens. The host enjoys a chat and we exchanged views and knowledge on many subjects.

The lack of quality wifi. However, there is an upgraded system available for emergencies. You need to download Netflix movies prior to arrival if you want this entertainment.

very warm welcome from the landlord and the staff. Their breakfast and dinners were really extraordinary. Unique experience!!
