"Budget stay super near attractions"

The location is perfect. Near bus stop and at the foot of the tourist destination. Love that there is coin-parking carpark that seems to be always empty right next to the hotel. Room and bath are very small but adequate for the non-fussy.

"Good value for money"

It is a little hard to find the entrance of the hotel the restaurant downstairs is closed. Look for stairs to left and walk up to the next floor. Stairs are very steep - take note if you are disabled or elderly. You can then take elevator to room. Beware that bunk bed is at floor level and you will need to crawl in. Noise level was a little high. Room is tiny and shabby but very clean. Staff are lovely and location for Gion is excellent.

Nice no frills room. The laundry machines work well. The location is excellent for accessing East Kyoto.

We asked for the hotel to call us a cab and they said they did not offer that service.
