Hotel La Corona de Lipa

good location, accesible from the highway. me & my wife enjoyed our overnight stay there using their pool, pool table & in the evening they have a karaoke room! Breakfast buffet was very sumptous plus they serve good brewed coffee. Thank you Hotel La Corona & Staff... see you again sometime soon!

Nice hotel for nice price In a nice area. Right in front of SM city lipa and along the highway. Quiet room we got but as very common in the Philippines, they need better interior designs. Not the furniture itself But the arrangement. Aside from that, I can’t really fault this hotel. Staff very friendly and Wifi can be better.

The hotel is small but our room was spacious and comfortable. I was not too happy that i could hear the kids shouting/playing at the pool just below our room (our room was at the 2nd level).

The room was quite small for the price and there really was nothing special here. But I just came here to have a decent room to stay for two nights. Parking is no problem. The room was cool, the bed nice, water strong with good hot shower. I was expecting a run-down TV, ref and flat iron, but they were all quite new. WiFi is strong. Storage would be a problem if you have lots of stuff. A better chair or two would have been nice. Sound-proofing is not very good but I was too tired to be bothered about it. There's a small pool but it's very open setup didn't look inviting. I wasn't very happy with the food I ordered but it did make up for the buffet breakfast I asked two friends to take advantage of for me. With all the cons I've mentioned, I'm still rating it high because what I needed I got. Overall, it was a good, comfortable stay.

By far the worst hotel stay ever. I reserved two twin beds and when I checked in they tried to give me one twin bed and a mattress on the floor. The beds are horrible. They are a plastic mattress like in an institution. Very unacceptable. I have stayed in thousands of hotels and have never once had a hotel present me with a plastic mattress. There were a couple of mattresses without the plastic cover on yet sitting in the hall and I know why they put the plastic cover on them. They were dirty, worn and had holes in them. Our room was right across from a meeting room and they had a speaker with a microphone and it sounded like we were sitting in the conference. They certainty don't have the ability to see anything from a guest perspective. The only positive is that it is right across from the SM Mall.

WIFI is non-existent. Was only able to access it for about 5% of the time during my 5-day stay. Very strong signal but can't connect out so it was useless. Very frustrating. Staff was not much help. Their Standard room is substandard. Contrary to what was stated in Expedia, there was no coffee maker in the room. Sink faucet is loose. Side of toilet seat bowl is too close to the wall, big people will have a hard time sitting on that thing. Blinds are not working. Mini bar was missing a can of coke. We had to replace it or be charged twice the amount upon checkout. Not enough AC sockets. Just across the street from the mall and the bus terminal. Polite and friendly staff.

It was amazing experience and the personnels were all kind.

Comfortable and convenient given the location.
