Hotel La Corona de Lipa

The staff very friendly. The place was clean , service very good. I would go again.

Check in was smooth and easy. The front desk personnel were very polite and accommodating. The hotel provides a very nice complimentary breakfast buffet with a half dozen dishes each morning. The room was away from the main highway therefore relatively quiet considering the location. It's a easy walk across a bridge to the SM Mall Lipa for shopping and dining choices. The room itself was spacious and could tell recently remodeled. I've stayed at other places in the area and it's the best value for the money, imho.

The room was fine, but nothing special, barely a three star: basic restroom and crt tv with a/c. Not dirty, but not especially clean. Restaurant was okay, pool small and not worth it. Outside billiards table was a little fun. Best feature is that's it is across the street from the SM mall.

i just got confused about one of the staff in there, because when i got there at the hotel last june 3, he cant find my reservation, he was asking me when did i booked it then i told him to maybe 2 weeks ago, after that he explain it to me that once i have booked it i should be there on the time i have booked it or it will be cancelled, i was thinking that day about that guy maybe he doesnt know what a BOOKING/RESERVATION is?!?

The stay was adequate and the service was decent, but the lack of consistent internet in the room was annoying. 3 of the 4 days there, it was not available and / or very weak on our floor. If that is not important to you, then it probably won't matter that much. It was important to us.

We arrived at La Corona at around 9PM. The hotel staff are accommodating.

Well located in central Lipa City. Staff were friendly & helpful. Room was clean. Restaurant & food was basic but O.K Building & decor starting to show it's age, and will need to be updated to continue to attract visitors.

everything from the ride they arranged to the breakfast was a rip off...

Great place to stay, despite renovations the hotel was very nice. Room service food was very good, and not too expencive Two 'complaints'. Hot water takes a long time from boiler to room (20 min) thats a lot of wasted water. Complimentarty breakfast could have been better, I guess it was the cold Vienna sausage the bothered me.
