Best Western Balgeddie House Hotel

Staff were all very helpful, room was spotless and breakfast was good .

meal, breakfast, room location was brilliant - rooms were massive and in a wee annexe of their own

I received help getting our luggage to our 1st floor room. Bed and chairs comfortable. Breakfast good, combination of buffet and getting the cooked part delivered to your table. Evening meal good, small menu. Hotel is in quiet location, near main roads, about 2 miles out of town centre. We enjoyed our morning swim before breakfast and sauna in the afternoon, the leisure facilities are well used. Staff are lovely.

Breakfast: fruit salad mainly big chunks of apple. Not a single order we placed for a cooked breakfast was correct, we got beans when we hadn't asked for them or got no egg, it was quite funny in the end, waiting to see what we got this time. There was not enough hot water, sometimes showers in the morning lukewarm, not able to have a bath in the evening. The hotel is dog friendly, but the door to the garden still locked at 7.15 in the morning when I wanted to let the dog out (despite mentioning it to the staff) and there is no bin on the premises for dog poop. It was hard to close the curtains in the room, I had to yank hard to get them to move

Room was a good size and very clean Breakfast was exceptional Had evening meal first night which was really good Bar and staff were very good

The pool, sauna and steam room nice. Good changing facilities. Bedroom - comfortable bed with tea, coffee, iron, ironing board nice and quiet. Public Areas - very nice with old world charm. Lovely garden.

Breakfast - very poor quality products and poor choice for continental breakfast.
