Bay Motel By OYO Bay City

It started out poorly as the hotel initially had no record of my reservation. I was then put in a lousy room. Despite how cheap the room is, I expected better. On the other hand, I really appreciate that I was moved into a better room after one night. Over all, although the staff is trying, the hotel needs to be refurbished.

Looked like a placd where homeless people st as stay..they could not find my prepaid reservation..to get into the shower you have to squeeze between two walls about 22 inches between walls was not easy. Not happy at all do not stay here

My stay at the Bay Motel was really well! The lady at the check in window was friendly upon arrival and helpful throughout my stay. Id recommend this place to most people. No it isnt a Hampton Inn, so dont expect that. However it is a clean room, cold fridge, bug free room.

It’s a cute little place to crash and go amd for the price you can’t beat it!

Small tub but clean

I found a bed bug the size of a dime sitting on the lamp next to the bed when I got out of the shower. I thought I had killed it and started to get dressed to show it to the front desk lady then realized the bug had escaped the toilet paper I had it in. Also the room was very hot. Someone came in your room after we left and turned the AC on fan and I didnt realize till the next morning. I just thought the AC didnt work well. But I noticed the next morning when I got in the fridge to get breakfaat that someone turned the frige way down too so our food and drinks got warm. I remember the settings I put everything on. Will not recommend to anyone.
