"No more Santa's magic!!"

2.0

Sooo disappointed! My family has been coming to the dinner with Ms. Claus and staying at the inn for the past 15 years! Before this year it was such a magical experience! I would give it 10 stars out of 5 back then. They had so many little personal things like the santa theme boxes for kids in the room along with chocolates from local sellers, and personal letters welcoming our family This year is just awful. They cut out all things that made it great like the dinner. It is now just a money grab. So disgusted!!!

"Cozy and Comfortable"

10.0

Loved our night here! The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is CHARMING without being cheesy or over the top! If you’re expecting a super modern hotel with all of the bells and whistles, please go stay somewhere else. This place is made for coziness and comfort. It’s an older facility but well maintained and clean. It’s like staying at your grandparents - big comfy beds and lots of pillows (good pillows, too!). The grounds are gorgeous - fire pit and walking paths. Zero regrets in choosing to stay here instead of a cookie-cutter hotel.

"Great!"

10.0

A getaway for our wedding anniversary. The inn was charming, clean and comfortable and the staff were competent and courteous. Our visit was mid-week and between the Fall foliage and ski seasons, but even so the price seemed surprisingly competitive.

"Christmas Farm Inn Amazing Stay!"

10.0

I stayed Christmas Farm Inn on Nov 11 2025. It was snowing when I checked in which added to the Christmas magic. The property has the Main Inn with the reception area dinning room, pub, sitting room with fireplace and a gift shop. All Christmas themed of course! The second floor has the guest rooms which all had Santa’s reindeer names. I stayed in the Vixen room which had a sitting area with 2 chairs a desk, coffee maker, electric kettle and mini fridge. The bathroom was large and came with travel size spa products which was nice touch. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and Santa had left me a note along with delicious homemade Christmas cookies! There are many other buildings with guest rooms with one at the top of the hill called the North Pole. There is a separate building with a fitness center with an indoor pool and hot tub. I braved a walk in the snow to the pool and was rewarded with having it to myself. They also have a spa on the premises but sadly I did not get a chance to visit it. Outside they have a fire pit and games also a pool for the summer season. I was only there for one night and did not eat in the dining room but the menu looked great. The lovely lady at the reception desk could not have been more friendly if she as Mrs Claus herself. My only regret was not getting her name. I cannot wait to return and stay longer next time.

"Old & Sweet"

10.0

Old and sweet... just like me. After reading others' reviews, I have to admit I was skeptical. Turns out I don't understand their opinions at all. Christmas Farm Inn is indeed old, but that's where its charm lies. We were housed in The Saltbox (Room #17), and it was very pleasant. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and easily accessible. Do watch out for the small step up, though. My husband did stumble in the middle of the night. 🥴 Dinner at the Inn was delightful—my meal was the highlight of my trip—(huge) pork chop, mashed potatoes, and roasted carrots. If they were open tonight, I just might order the exact same thing, but they are closed on Monday evenings. Everyone's breakfast was nice, though I was a wee bit disappointed with my avocado toast. It seemed the avocado was not homemade, and there was no thinly sliced onion included. When I inquired of the server, she apologized, stating they had recently changed the menu but had not yet updated the description and offered a complimentary fresh fruit cup in its place. Do not hesitate to book a stay here at Christmas Farm Inn, especially if you have found a reasonable online deal.

"A comfortable country inn"

The first room was not clean. I went to the desk and they happily gave us a different room. The second room was clean, quiet and very comfortable! The staff were very polite and accommodating!

"Poorly run."

6.0

Did a couples package to celebrate our first marriage anniversary. The room was quaint. Enjoyed the gas fireplace and the jacuzzi. In the package we were given a relaxation hour and all we had to do was choose the time. When the time came we had to wait 15 minutes to be checked in and brought to our spa room. The lady who we assume runs the spa was nice enough to not dock the 15 minutes that we had to wait which we would have expected since it wasn’t our fault. The tea that was in the kettle was cold. Our breakfasts were also included in the package which was nice and all we had to do was make reservations for the time that we wanted to have breakfast. While we were at it we also decided to make one of dinner. Out of the 3 meals we made reservations for only 1 of them we were actually sat on time. The other two we had to wait 10 minutes to be sat. Whats the point in the reservation then? When checking out we decided to buy a couple things from the “gift shop” (just a wall with some trinkets on it at the front desk) however the lady at the desk didn’t tell us until after she checked us out that the only way we could pay for the things we wanted from their shelf was through the card on file or cash, but because she had closed our stay out the only way “she could allow us to take these today” (her words) were if we had cash, but i didn’t see an ATM on site. Mind you they had a card machine to put the temporary incidental charge on my card when I first arrived so why couldn’t she just run a card on it? Also this “gift shop” is located where you enter/exit the restaurant (which is open to the public) so what if someone who isn’t staying at the inn and doesn’t have cash wants to buy something? Doesn’t seem like a smart business tactic there. Had high hopes for this place.

"Classic Bait and Switch - Do. Not. Stay. Here."

2.0

Absolutely atrocious. We travel all over the US, and only one other time have we walked into a Motel (that’s what this really is), saw the room, and turned and walked out. The front desk lady was courteous, but when asked if we were getting a refund for the $600 (for 2 nights), she was very vague and stated that she would take my phone number and have the manager call me. We were placed in a room in the ‘Salt Box’ building. The deeply stained, cheap carpet, the old, lumpy mattress, the blinds in the bathroom that wouldn’t close, and the bathroom floor peeling up left everything to be desired. See my attached photos for yourself. Do. Not. Stay. Here. There are other local alternatives that are actually worth the money. The Inn demands 1/2 of the total up front, the other half when you check in. There’s a reason why they do this… because obviously they know people are not staying and will have to fight to get their money returned. I’ve now seen several reviews saying the same thing… hard lesson learned. I’m sure lawsuits may follow for fraudulent business practices. The gentleman in front of us in line at the check- in counter was going through the same thing. It looks like a Hallmark movie on the outside, but inside it’s like a horror movie. Beware.
