"Great choice if you really want a 'Wellness' resort"

8.0

So beautiful! The layout is well-designed and expertly maintained. The private pool villas are comfortable, modern, and kept very clean. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Easy access to an uncrowded beach with no hawkers, etc. Gorgeous! NOTE: Be certain that you really want to be immersed in their "Wellness" theme. The Spa is the focus, and rightfully so. You will see guests wearing their room bathrobes everywhere in public, including restaurant terrace, etc. The food is overwhelmingly focused on healthy alternative ingredients that mostly lacked seasoning and texture - to my palate at least. But the dishes were all very beautifully presented. Screaming children absolutely killed the relaxation vibe for all other guests. ("Wellness Resort" should be "Adults Only," no?) Most disappointingly, we were charged for tea while waiting in the guest lounge during cleaning of our room. (The same tea that we could have had for free in our room.)

"Needs refinement!"

8.0

This is a really hard one to summarize. The overall expericence was pleasant although many faults and odd choices made this expericence lacking refinement and value. I will start with the positives: - the spa therapists are professional and nicely trained although there is no luxury perks at all. Same complimentary water and tea everytime and lacking of small touches. The massages are overall very good but the treatments felt similar. - The food quality is high standards and tasteful. They could improve variety at breakfast but overall the food is really good. - The grounds are beautifully groomed. - The pool is beautiful and in great condition but gets in shade early in the afternoon. The problem with this area derives from the huge highfloor resort that is being built next to the hotel. It causes shade to most of the resort in the early afternoon. Besides that even in the morning the pool sunbeds don't get direct sunlight either. It is a small detail but overall I didn't feel very confortable in the pool lounge area. - the beach is gorgeous and very clean. It was better than anticipated! - the service is overall good but not as refined as other 5 stars in Vietnam. Many staff don't greet you for instance. Pool service at the other hand could be much better, staff is not pro active. - automatic toilet at villas are a plus. Now the negatives: - Value. Overall I felt the resort to be too expensive for what it is. The facilities are good but not refined for the high price tag. You end up by paying for the free daily spa in the room price. All the other aspects are subdued to the average value of the resort. - villa windows and door frames. They need to urgently upgrade the frames to aluminum or other modern structure. The atual old wooden frames don't close completely, allowing gaps in the corners. - mosquitoes. In my 3 weeks trip across Vietnam i had only 2 mosquitoes bites:  one at the indoor breakfast of TIA and other inside at the gym of TIA wellness resort!.. I think this says a lot regarding this issue. I am very carefull with mosquitoes and unfortunately this resort is not! There are a lot indoors! They don't want to use chemical repelents due to the ecological issues but they don't make other measures also. Gaps in the windows, no first door at the common villas entrance for instance, no natural oil burners repellent.. I mean no care at all! For instance most times I opened my villa main door a mosquito immediately got in. I don't think this is acceptable! I think the only place I didn't saw mosquitoes were in the spa treatment rooms, fortunately! - there is no coffee shop for snacks in the hotel. They only serve coffee and tea at the lobby, so you are stuck to the restaurants for food. Should be changed!! - dinner main restaurant is too expensive. - spa treatments could benefit with choosing of oil scents and aromas and more luxury touches. - bath amenities products at the villas are just poor quality. Should be totally replaced. - gym facilities are new but lacks variety of equipement and weights. Should be vastly improved for the resort concept and definitely there is a need of electric difusor repelents inside. I used the gym once, saw some mosquitoes, got bitten, never returned.. - one very bad aspect in the check in was the fact they gave me a dirty stained key card cover, just a bad first impression. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is good though, the staff do their best, they just need modern vacuums and equipment (get a dyson vacuum for instance!). Found some long hairs in the room due to poor vacuum cleaners. - bed mattress support is of cheap quality. This made an overall underwhelming but still enjoyable stay. Would I return? No! Unless they upgrade villas frames and make conscious proactive serious measures against mosquitoes in the resort.

"Beautiful resort, very quiet and private. Perfect place to relax"

10.0

Incredible resort. Filled with amazing ammenities, beautiful beach and very quiet and private. Other guests were very quiet and typically from Asia, Europe, Australia. No one there to party, just a mindful Welness and relaxation resort. The staff were absolutely 10 out of 10 and would come back again in a heartbeat…. I really hope this place doesn’t change too much with all the change going on in Danang!

Every aspect of TIA Wellness Report is fantastic. One of my favourite hotels on my travels around the world. The staff are amazing. So friendly and happy to help with any request big or small. The spa setup and services are unbelievable given that your treatments are included in the room price. For those wondering whether you will be offered low quality treatments, rest assured that these are the same treatments that you would pay a lot for in most hotels. Thanks to TIA Wellness! We will be back for sure!!

"Excellent"

8.0

The rooms were nice and spacious. I liked that it wasn’t a high-rise hotel. The restaurant, like their breakfast buffet and dinners were good and the staff was excellent. The spa service was good and staff was accommodating. The only service issue we encountered was the all day breakfast dining area near the pool. It was a beautiful location near the pool. We wanted to eat off of their breakfast menu, 2 of the 3 nights we were there. We were very rudely asked by a male server “You didn’t eat breakfast this morning?” But in a very angry tone. Felt irritated, but let it go since everywhere else the service was good. On our last night, it happened again. A different male server asked the same thing in the same angry tone. Then, they later informed us that there would be a charge. We didn’t care about the charge, just the attitude. Don’t advertise it as an all day breakfast if they are going to be angry serving it. Everything else was good.

"World class service and complete relaxation"

10.0

We have enjoyed a wonderful 4 nights at TIA. The resort itself is beautiful and sets you up for a relaxing stay. The wellness treatments are extensive and excellent. We arrived on our first day and the welcome team had already booked our first treatments. Fabulous touch. The food was delicious throughout our stay and the breakfast selection was out of this world. What made this short stay so memorable though were the staff. They were the most sincere, happy and kind people. Totally dedicated to your wellbeing and the enjoyment of your stay. Highly recommended.

"A peaceful vibe nourishing the body and mind"

8.0

We have a happy vacation in TIA with my whole extended family of 8 persons The ocean facing villa is huge with a well maintained lawn and swimming pool in- house. The staff are very helpful and courteous. They all have warm smiles. The manager, Son, is very helpful and designed our excursion. He makes our trip so much more enjoyable The daily therapy has a wide range to choose from. All therapists are good to excellent. My first time to have daily massage during a vacation and it is an experience that is very relaxing

Wow! We were so impressed by TIA Wellness Resort and would return again in a heartbeat. The staff were excellent and paid complete attention to us and our requirements. We just loved our treatment inclusions with the room, my partner and I had a massage and foot treatment each in a couples therapy room with two extremely skilled therapists. The therapists were just of outstanding standard and dealt with the problem areas we each had in our backs fantastically. The food at the resort can't go without mention as it was also outstanding. Everything was conscious so if we had burgers (which we did) all the info was clear about content and the food was prepared and delivered in a healthy way and not laden with unnecessary fats but still outstandingly tasty. There are health conscious treats and minibar options in your room that are awesome as well. The robes, towels and all amenities are top class and the villa was lovely with the best toilet facilities we've ever used lol
