Excellent wellness treatments.Spacious pool villas

We only stayed here three nights and I wish we had stayed longer! I loved the breakfast. I loved that the breakfast provided a ton of vegan options. We enjoyed sitting outside and trying all of the different options each day. The rooms are beautiful. The bathroom has two sinks and the Japanese-style toilet is in a room with a door. These two small details make the stay so much nicer--it was great for my husband and I to have our own sinks, and for someone to be able to use the toilet in private while someone else was at the sink or in the shower. The large bathtub was quite luxurious. The minibar in the room is free and is restocked each day with healthy, delicious snacks and drinks. We really enjoyed this feature as we normally don't even open the minibar at hotels. I enjoyed the one art class we were able to take, and wish I had time to take more of the little classes that were offered. The cleaning staff is excellent. They also provide a little gift during the turndown service--a different one each night. Our favorite was the floating lanterns and candles that they gave us to float in our pool--which was the only use we really got out of the pool... Overall, this was an excellent experience and I would stay here again if I ever go back to DaNang. The two complaints I have are that the private pool was absolutely freezing and we tried to get in it, and it was so cold, we couldn't do it! So we never made use of it. Also, I do not really like spa treatments, so I wish you could pay less for the room and decline the included treatments. It didn't add any value to me.

Truly relaxing experience. The site is well spread out, so you have your own space. The villa rooms have their own garden area and pool, so the resort never feels crowded. Smart dining room serving good food and a beach restaurant for more casual dining. Located next to the beach. The spa is also very good and included with the price.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom pool villa which had a sitting area and fabulous bathroom. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve ever had with such an extensive range of food. We also enjoyed food in the pool bistro. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The inclusive treatments are great. Would recommend.

Beautiful resort

The first thing you notice is the massive building overlooking the pool villas. You later learn the building is not finished. The pools are a complete waste of time as they are not heated. We experienced problems in the spa where they had messed up our booking and with dirty glassware in the restaurant. The breakfast is excellent and all the staff very friendly.

My daughter and I spent 3 nights here and it was a wonderful experience. We had various massages and it was very relaxing. We were not so keen on the Lymphatic massage though. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms or villas I should say are very spacious with your own pool, lounge chairs and another shaded area outside with lounge chairs for reading or just chilling. The resort is right next to the beach which makes it even nicer. The food is mostly plant based but not entirely. It is very health focused. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal. So much choice. It is a wonderful "Zen" place where you can just chill. I might add that it is a 30 minute drive to the town of Hoi An. We went there one day and it was very enjoyable. There are several places you can go to for sightseeing from the Resort. I would definitely recommend TIA Wellness Resort to friends.

Our arrival was delayed due to a typhoon and Danang airport being closed for 24hours. I notified Tia wellness who offered to extend our 4 day stay by an additional night to compensate us for the 1 day late arrival. This was fine however I explained we had onward flights and accomodation and would only be staying for the 3 nights so would like to be refunded. They said there may be a small cancellation fee. On checking out I again requested my refund for the night only to be told it would be done through Qantas reservations. I asked for a letter in writing. They said it would be emailed. I received an email once we cleared customs saying we had forfeited the extra night and would not be refunding the money. After several emails and no response from Tai wellness and Qantas who were pretty useless, I did not get the money back! My stay at Tia Resort was average to say the least. The rooms were clean but turn down service arrived in the middle of the afternoon when we were still relaxing so nothing was done. The next night they came too late when we were already in bed. The food at the beach side restaurant was average and the staff stood over us watching us eat our meal which was extremely uncomfortable. Part of the package included massages. I filled out the forms before we arrived yet they did not seem to have a record of this. The massages were not great and thankfully it was part of a package deal so I did not feel like I was paying additional for something so mediocre. I do not recommend Tia Wellness. If they had offered to extend our stay free of charge (due to a natural disaster) then why could they not refund me the amount that I had paid and lie to my face that they will refund it through my travel agent and then say its been forfeited!!! I urge any future travellers to read the small print in their contract.

This was one of the best holidays I have had for some time. The staff, from the gardeners, the pool attendants, the restaurant staff, and people at the front desk and not forgetting the gentleman who welcomed guests, were all very kind courteous. The villas were always clean and beautifully laid out. The different "gifts" each night were fun and I use the ink brush even today. I went for 10 days which had circumstances been different I would have done 5 days tour of Vietnam and 5 days relaxing here at this amazing hotel. My thanks to every one there for a very positive introduction to Vietnam.

Tia was a great stay. Lovely place and staff.
