This 1926 British bungalow has been expanded upon a couple of times but retains a colonial charm. The gardens are magnificent and the food (our package included breakfast and dinner) was excellent—served outdoors on a beautiful shaded dining patio. Panchmarhi Hill Station is difficult to get to, but I would go back just to relax at this place for a few days.

Heritage building, greenery, interaction with staff and being close to nature.

Hot water system (in some of our rooms getting hot showers was a journey itself). On-site restaurant is a complete vegetarian which is good for families who are completely vegetarian. Ours were mostly non-vegetarian, so it was bit hard to satisfy our young ones.
