Inthira Vang Vieng

Ein eigentlich sehr schönes Hotel. Unser Zimmer hat uns optisch sehr gut gefallen, allerdings ist leider dem Design jegliche Praktikabilität zum Opfer gefallen. Keine Haken, keine Ablagen, an den Safe und den kleinen Schrank kam man nur bei geschlossener Badezimmer(schiebe)tür. Allerdings war das Bett super bequem und wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Der Blick auf die umgebende Landschaft ist traumhaft. Ebenso positiv hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück. Man kann toll draußen sitzen und auf den Fluss schauen, die frischen Omelettes sind super und auch die asiatischen Speisen sehr lecker.

Negativ ist die permanente Geräuschkulisse durch die Longtail Boote auf dem Fluss und das Personal, welches leider großteils für Service absolut kein Empfinden hat. In dieser Preisklasse erwarte ich ehrlich gesagt mehr. Es handelt sich um eines der teuersten Häuser der Stadt, beim Service merkt man davon leider nichts.

Location on the river was great and outside spaces styled nicely. Food was tasty and good value. Front desk very helpful and booked train tickets for us. We also did a tour with Green Discovery which was excellent.

Room was disappointing for price. Decorated in a basic manner, there was a hole in the ceiling from a leak and the patio doors didn’t close properly so there was a gap for insects. The shower was also difficult to use.

Good location in the centre of the town. Nice pool. Restaurant setting is lovely.

The decor is tired and the rooms are in need of refurbishment. Food is just ok and the staff need training in customer service. Wi-Fi is patchy in the bedroom. TV did not seem to work.

Vang Vieng is a small town make walking a breeze around, night market (also the walking street) fresh local foods were delicious. Balcony rooms facing the mountain and river were beautiful with motor gliders floating in the air and hot air ballons in the morning and evening. Room was simple with no fuss, nice feel. the only property's land that stretches toward the river, great planning.

The towels are old with yellow stains, one of the morning fruits sections consists of boiled sweet potatoes, pumpkin and watermelon. Bad distortion on tv channels (reason given, had storm few days back), it wasn't only my room. (It shows that housekeeping didn't report (suggest have Regular maintenance, investing in a robust antenna, using signal boosters, and clearing of obstructions and so forth).
