Noor-Us-Sabah Palace

Staff was polite at the time of check in only. One of our rooms had a lovely view facing the lake which was nice! Rooms were nice, clean sheets and bathroom was quite clean as well. However, the shower faucet was leaking looked like it might burst out anytime and the toilet seat was bit rickety as well.

Although the staff was polite, at the time of check in were informed that due to a wedding party our rooms were not ready On stating that we had booked two rooms for four people a month before our trip we were alloted one room facing the lake while we waited for the other room to be ready which should've been by 2 pm as per their check in policy. After calling the reception past 4 pm we were informed the room is ready ony to be given Standard room with window facing a plain blank wall which was not as per our booking. We had booked 2 rooms one Royal Club and one Standard room both facing the Lake. While checking in we were informed that breakfast would be ready by 7.15 am by Mr Lalit and when we informed him that we had a flight to catch at 8.45 am he mentioned that although the time is 7.15 am but the food would be ready by 7am and if necessary the staff coud also pack. Little did we know these were just words to please and not really put into action. Next morning we arrived at the breakfast area at 7am only to be told that breakfast would be ready only by 7.30am so we requested the staff to pack a few items for us only to be informed that since the food is not ready they can't pack. We waiting till 7.30 am while having tea and had to literally beg them to pack something for us. We left the breakfast area at sharp 7.30 am with some items packed and no sign of the breakfast counter being ready by 7.30am. Nevertheless would recommend it only because the rooms were nice and clean and it served the purpose for a night stay.

My room number was 110 which was connected with 111. I was unable to sleep whole night due to discussion going on in 111

property only view was good rest nothing great about the place we had bad experience with the staff

Weird that the lights didn’t turn on/off individually, only if you removed the key.

Amazing location, well trained staff, yummy food and comfy rooms. There is actually nothing to complain about this amazing property. The management is really good and very helpful as well.

Old decor (I know it's a heritage property but permanently stained tables) and the biggest one, exhaust in bathrooms don't work which is a must!

the location is amazing with lake view and palace is heritage property.

the service is not up to the standards of a 4star or 5 star hotel, the food is average offering variety of a 3star hotel especially in breakfast. not value for money at all. the rooms are overpriced.. it felt like was paying only for the location and not for the amenities. there were hardly any amenities offered by hotel in the room. the rooms are divided and not worth the value of money asked.
