Adonis Cannes - Hôtel Thomas

I found the neighbourhood charming with a Montmartre feel on the hill looking over Cannes. The views are spectacular especially from the top floor of the hotel where the pool is located.The room is large in size, very modern and very clean. The hotel is also nice and peaceful and quiet.

Its a busy place on a hill so parking as in much of Cannes is limited at best and a pain in the *** at worst. There is a hotel parking which is charged extra. I managed to find a parking space on the street not too far away but if you have lots of items in your car and you dont like walking this is not for you. The real disappointment was to find that the pool was closed. It was most annoying as i chose the hotel for the pool and there was no mention of the pool shut on booking with a photo of the pool as the main picture. After enquiring in reception i was told they were waiting for water quality analysis. I asked if it would be open tomorrow. The receptionist replied in typical french fashion that he did not know but did not expect so. Consequently I decided to shorten my stay at the hotel and leave. I would urge any visitors staying in this hotel who share my disappointment to do the same. I did not take breakfast there either also in protest of the pool shut. I will ask for one night to be refunded and if not pursue a visa dispute with the property.

Hotel far away on a one way street promote parking but no parking Terrible

Bonjour, je ne pense pas retourner dans cet hôtel pour les raisons suivantes, - prévoir le parking payant (6 places gratuites, publique) - j'ai eu une chambre communicante donc bouillante selon le voisin (se que j'ai eu) - équipement sanitaire étonnant (lave mains dans la SdB et lavabo dans les toilettes !!!) - propreté relative - Mobilier dégradé

Albergo piacevole e personale gentile. Piscina panoramica rilassante. Mi dispiace che il ristorante dell'albergo era chiuso

The front desk staff and manager are Ok. They do their best.

The air conditioning is broken There is no fridge in the room There is no Tele in the room No help with the luggage This 4 points is very disappointing. It is summertime with 38 degrees . I couldn’t sleep in room because it’s too hot! I have medical problem and can’t support this environment. I ended sleeping with my car with air conditioning on the whole night. My stays is non refundable . I stays from 29 July to august 11. That was very tough for me. I tried the breakfast . It’s really plain. Unlike other hotels there is a choice to get eggs for omelette. It was 14€ per breakfast.
