Hotel Kingsley

The refurbishment of this well-located motel has been done to a high standard. The 'new' reception/coffee shop/wine bar is excellent. We were able to enjoy a cooked breakfast and good coffee served by delightful, friendly staff, there instead of walking over to Dockside. This is our preferred Brisbane stopover for early flights the next day as it is so well-located. Highly recommended.

Nothing to dislike. Would like a little less light in the suite though. The louvre shutters are lovely but they still let in too much light for those accustomed to dark skies. But this is something we face wherever we travel, so we just put up with the increasing use of LED lights, night lighting etc. Usually end up draping towels over light sources.
