NH Timisoara

Staff and location are pretty good. Clean rooms and very quite place. Walkable distance to Old Town

Everything was excellent at NH Timisoara, clean and very pleasant staff we meet there.

Very nice hotel with free parking.

I had a 10 day stay in this hotel and the purpose was official Pros: - good ambience - many options in breakfast - room was clean and well maintained - mini bar had plenty of drinks at all times - walkable distance to city centre, sports bar, and brewery Cons - insects in the room due to the park close to it. Air condition was not able so we had to keep our windows closed. It became very hot and I had to go outside to work during the evenings with my laptop instead of the hotel. It was the same for the other two colleagues in the hotel, they too found insects. In the night, it was difficult to get sleep - hospitality can be improved (we can all smile and greet a bit). Let us avoid being grumpy. - one plug point close to the TV was not working (room number 224) - one coffee machine. During breakfast when we had more than 30 people, we had to stand in queue to get coffee. I had to drop the idea few times as there was not time!! I expect atleast 2 coffee machines. Even though there are many good points but the basic aspect of comfortable stay in the room was not there. It is not worth so much money for this stay

I was extra charged for a room- one night- without even knowing or with some explanation. 2 guests from one of our rooms we're redirected at check-in to another (lower classified hotel: 3 stars instead of 4) without us being priory notified.The ones at the reception in Timisoara first told us that they have some technical issues with 4 rooms. I;ve asked again why they redirected us a day before they told me that they have overbooked. - At checkout they've first asked some friends of us to pay for the room. They have called me and I've settled the issue at the reception. During the following hours as people started to checkout they've asked us 3 more times to pay for the rooms. Although we've booked rooms for two people, in some rooms we only had 1 towel and we found dust in a room. - When I've asked to talk with a manager (I;ve called the reception given the fact that I've already checked out) the girl at the reception told me there is none at work, which is ok, it was Sunday. But when asked for a phone number she gave me an out of order number. I needed to further insist in order to get a phone number. Some people entered our room while we were in it. They told us that the receptionist allocated them the same room. Never before I had so many problems during a stay at a hotel. I have chosen NH because I thought that it will live up to its name. It did not. Not at all. I am waiting for the money back( 144.47 RON) that I do not know what are charged for.

friendly staff, good food, clean room

First room assigned - air condition not working. Staff change it in half an hour, it was just one receptionist, maintenance was in holiday for 2 weeks. Second room fine, bit with 2 towels - 1 large, 1 small. Next day, the room was not cleaned, even sign was hanged outside the room door. Hotel with potential, but still room for improvement to get to the NH level and customer expectations.

the Air condition was not properly, the manager promises to fix it .meantime send us water and ice cream .
