NH Timisoara

Great stay overall. I arrived little after midnight and all checkin paperwork were already prepared. Despite the annoying paperwork train specific to Romanian government, the checkin process did not take longer than 3 minutes. The front desk representative was very polite, courteous, and explained everything in detail. I first received a room on the first floor, but when asked for a higher level room, the representative changed my room in a heartbeat. The hotel was clean, the room was super clean and comfortable with a chic modern design. The bathroom had everything in it except sawing kit and q-tips. The towels were very nice and fluffy. I called the front desk to provide me with a bathrobe and slippers and received them in less than 1 minute. The breakfast was amazing. Full complete American breakfast. Everything was super fresh and great looking, even thou I arrived 10 minutes before closing. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Timisoara for leisure or business.

This is a quiet hotel with stylish, comfortable rooms, nice lounge serving great Cramele Recas wines, offering tasty breakfast along with convenient location away from the hubbub of central Timisoara. A great value, too.

I always stay at this hotel when I travel in Timisoara

Arrived late in the evening, went to the bar which stayed open till almost midnight. Few people were smoking there but that's probably still OK here. Just limited meal menu available (sandwiches, soups), but beer, local wine and spirits offered. The room was OK, clean and modern. Also shower, no bath tub, which I prefere (and asked for). Breakfast was max 3*, coffee kind of OK, rest nothing spectacular. Next time in Temesvar will stay here again.

All good with a little exception, the bed was a little to hard to my liking

business trip once every month place can use a gym.

For the 1st night their was no hot water in the room and the Gym was being refurbished which is not ideal. The location should have been great but there was 24 hour road maintenance outside the hotel. Room service is only from 6pm to 12pm and the bedding was minimal. The hotel need to improve on a number of small things to make staying enjoyable.

The reception staff knew absolutely nothing about the city and where to go. Did show any interest away from sitting there. The madras was hard with springs coming through and pillows where filled with concrete. Otherwise clean and a typical very sterile/ lack of personality business hotel. The city was excellent...

We stayed for 5 nights at the NH for a private visit to Timisoara and the surrounding region. It is located on a wide but slightly uninspiring street, but it backs on to a pleasant park. It is also only a minute's walk from the Bega river and the parks situated alongside it, which you can cross to reach Timisoara's picturesque centre. It's also a short walk to Romania's historic Timisoreana brewery. The hotel is a modern, well-maintained building with all the amenities you would expect, including bar terrace and gym/spa. We enjoyed their breakfast buffet every day (a good variety except on one particularly busy morning) and had a tasty dinner on one evening. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
