Lorelei Resort Motel

This tiny, old Florida, laid-back property was exactly what I was looking for, plus it's pet friendly for no extra charge. It suited my purposes perfectly. While maybe not for everyone as it doesn't have all the amenities newer and fancier (and higher-priced) hotels have, it does have WiFi and a TV. The manager was terrific, the room was immaculate and had a little kitchenette, and it was maybe 2-3 blocks from a Publix grocery store - what else do you really need? Just around the corner from Publix was a large community park and a perfect place to walk my dog. The resident dogs are all quite friendly, so my pooch made some new friends as well. It was very close to two causeways going into St. Petersburg, and there was beach access across the road (the hotel is on the Intercoastal Waterway side). There are tons of restaurants for everyone's taste. The next time I'm in the area to visit friends, I most certainly plan on staying here again.

It was very nice

Although this hotel is 74 years old it is in good shape. The room is simple as you would expect from this time period. Full size fridge, microwave, sink, hot plate and an assortment of dishware make up the kitchenette. Bed was very comfy. The vibe is very chill. Tropical feel and outside areas you can really relax in. Location is excellent, with it being on the ICW and the Gulf aross the street. Publix is 500 ft down the street. The cost is reasonable for where you are. We will be back!

Took a weekend vacation to the beach with a friend and stayed at Lorelei. It was a truly wonderful experience. Maria was a wonderful host, the room was clean and the bed was so comfortable we slept in while we were there. Located right across the street from the beach and with several restaurants and a Publix within walking distance. We would definitely stay there again.

Very dog 🐕 friendly Frankie loved it got to roam around without a leash & play with Blue, George the owners dogs and other dogs, beach is across the street, fish from the dock on the bay, rooms are small but clean & quiet cheapest hotel on Treasure island

I really enjoyed the quaint little room. It was a cute and quiet place.

Beautiful, quiet little place

We stayed5 nights and had suxh a great time. The motel was perfect and the views spectacular!i love that dogs are welcome and the ones that live there are so sweet. The owner was very sweet and friendly and works very hard at keeping the lorelei looking pretty. Thank you for your hospitality!

The owners were very thoughtful, nice and friendly. The room was comfortable but nothing is updated. The internet signal was very weak, recommended vending, ice machine and a TV guide. The water-views and beach is walkable. Dog friendly, if you use to animals, it may be challenging.

It has a great atmosphere for people and pets. So enjoyable. It met all of our needs. Maria is a wonderful hostess. A block from the public beach and Publix.
