"Good place for solo and nightlife hunter"

6.0

I do not advise to enjoy this hotel. Don't ask me why. But you have to try the club. the best nightlife in cambodia, nightclubs with thumping Mandarin music played by DJ. Beautiful girl dancing. really nice if you like nightlife

"Hotel for Chinese businessmen"

10.0

The main attraction at the hotel is the KTV and night club full of working Vietnamese girls. The price for the KTV is not cheap. Ask for the price before ordering. If you ask for "take out" it will cost you $150. The two clubs walking distance from the hotel, Casa, and True Face, anything goes. You will see people openly consuming drugs other than alcohol and it's tolerated. For an all out night, with all bases covered, be prepared to spend almost $300. The hotel room itself was decent. It came with two plush bathrobes and the room was spacious and bed was big. There was a pool but it was out of order and the gym equipment was sad. There's two restaurant attached to the hotel. One run by Mainland Chinese and the other one run by Malaysian Chinese. The prices at the Mainland one are cheaper.

"Never again!!!!"

2.0

Third time to this hotel as the previous time were fine and the location was perfect for us. This time we've stayed 9 days. The hotel does not make any effort to recognize or at least acknowledge its previous guests, again on check in ask you for all previous information already given a few days earlier. ( email address, name, telephone etc....) one day I had no towels in the bathroom, called the reception to ask for towels 15 minutes later still no towels, went for breakfast without shower and when I came back 30 minutes later still no towels, flew down the reception to enquirer if it was a joke. Towels finally made it to the room, no apologies or whatsoever from the management. Thank god I do not run my business this way. Definitely it was the last time for me over there.

"Good place for solo and nightlife hunter"

8.0

The hotel location is quite ok. Very close to all eatery and transportation is available right in front of the hotel. This place is good for solo nightlife hunter as they have disco, karaoke and massage inhouse and 24 hours restaurant right in front. The room is very clean and good size. Thought the room might be noisy but quite ok for me to fall in sleep and no noise from the road at all. The breakfast is great and staff are very professional.

"Lost its charm"

4.0

Casa is getting tired and needs a complete makeover. Seemed fairly wuiet overall, few customers, breakfast wasnt nice. Still like the room on the 7th floor with its great view of the tonle sap. However hotel management needs to accept that there are much better hotels available for cheaper price

"Vibie in the evenings"

6.0

I think this hotel suits more the Asian traveler especially the single man looking for girls with KTV on the 3rd floor and the night club in the basement. I have always liked the rooms on the 7th floor generous in size with the super king-sized bed. Feels very comfortable with great views of the Tonle Sap through full sized windows. Aircon works well, bathroom OK. Bed linen changed each day, but I did notice the linen is getting a bit worn out and probably time to renew. Hotel generally has a bit of a worn out feeling but maybe that is part of the attraction. KTV is newly refurbished in a Cambodian Apsara style with lots of pretty girls. The breakfast area is still a shocker. For just a few dollars please repaint the walls, replace the furniture and those floor tiles are stuffed. Breakfast is buffet, kinda repetitive, but OK. I think still probably good value, but paying a little extra for an alternative hotel will be the preferred option for most Western travelers

"For the party animals"

6.0

If you are one who is looking for a hotel with an attached happening night club, this is the hotel of your choice in town. In comparison to lodging in Phnom Pehn of the same class, I'd say this is in the acceptable range. And because we have stayed in the hotel about a decade ago and had seen it in worse condition, I'd say it has upgraded in many areas, and would like to acknowledge that effort. Cleanliness is very much maintained regularly in every corner of your room. Corridors to rooms have no aircon so it could feel a bit humid. Aircon in room takes about half a day to cool down the room. Had a word with the technical team and indeed the aircondition units are relatively new, as I was shown. Just that, the room is too big for that puny unit to cool down quickly. So, if you are the type like me who cannot withstand humidity, you may like to call the hotel beforehand to cool down your room before your arrive and tip the housekeeping a little to NOT off your aircon throughout. That should do the trick. A few items I would like to point out about this hotel, so if eventually you have to stay here, that may help you to have a better stay: - The toothbrush and toothpaste quality is not ideal. Bring your own. - There are monkeys that would climb up through the corridor window and sit there to do nothing. If you are not the animal type of person, avoid all rooms ending 18 and 19. - Sun Facing: Even-numbered rooms face west. Odd-numbered faces east. - Room service would take 10-20 minutes Breakfast is really nothing. Many restaurants by the riverside serve better spread if you need good food and coffee every morning. They have better food on the menu at the restaurant than the one in the room. Chinese restaurant on the right of hotel serves ok food only...you may have different opinion. But the Local BBQ at the front of it serves quite delicious food. Because of the club that opens till 5am, noise of the music can get very very loud for lower floors. Highest floor is 7. We stayed there and had very mild disturbance, though we could still hear. But they were bearable. There is a 24hr U6 convenience store manned by a young China couple 5mins walk away. But in the daytime, the vicinity of the hotel offers pretty good variety of daily necessity from Food, Clinic, Pharmacy, Barber, Local Massage, Cafes, Restaurants, Karaoke, Hospital The famous Wat Phnom is just a stone throw away from the hotel too. I'd say it is a good hotel with friendly English/Mandarin speaking staff. It could be better without the noise at night. And it is certainly NOT a hotel suitable for romantic couple and family. Riverside is about 10mins walk away. Central Market and Night Market is about $1.00 tuk tuk ride away. Airport is about 40-60mins away.

"Schlaflos in Phnom Phen"

6.0
