"Happy enough at the Casa"

6.0

Good value 3 star hotel. See my previous posts. I think the KTV not as popular as in previous visits. But still a vibie hotel in the evenings with the KTV on the 3rd floor and night club in the basement. The restaurant area needs a serious upgrade, with new paint, new furniture and new table cloths. Its currently a real embarrassment for the hotel and not at all acceptable. Breakfast very average but sufficient. Still like the room especially the side facing the Tonle Sap. Room cleaned each day with fresh linen. Staff friendly especially the ladies. Hotel definitely has that worn out feeling, but hey this is Cambodia. Yes there are better hotels but the price goes up accordingly. Mainly Asian tourist here, but I note a few Europeans this time, possibly because of my previous recommendations. I chatted with them and some have stayed several times. The single guy will be quite happy, and the hotel is girl friendly. If you are female, straight and fussy, find somewhere else.

"My short stay"

6.0

If you need a quiet place then stay on the high floor, Disco below is noisy. Not suitable for family with children as there are plenty of girls in the lobby mostly Vietnamese waiting to be picked up. Breakfast is bad. Not much choice.

"Food & entertainment are readily available. "

The breakfast buffet at the hotel is horrible. It was indicated clearly from 6am to 10am but when I came into the cafeteria at 9am, the food leftover were awful.

"not bad, but far from great"

6.0

The hotel in and of itself is not too bad, lots of adult orientated activity like night club and karaoke, but very much geared to the Asian customer. The room was OK, a good size and fairly clean Breakfast was not good for western tastes, better to eat out.

"Lively and not exactly for family stay"

8.0

We were 3 guys and stayed here for 2 days in Dec 2013. Location is very good, just a 5 - 10 minute tuk tuk ride from most of the central places especially the nightlife hub of Phnom Penh. Rooms on the higher floor are newly furbished and we had no complains. Included in the room tariff is Breakfast, WiFi, Cable TV, Safety Deposit Box, Swimming Pool, Gym and Air conditioner. Hotel rooms are away from the main street around 20 meters but you should ask for the rooms away from the street - on the back side. We had booked the superior room and as promised by the Front Office Manager at the time of booking - we got a free upgrade to the deluxe room at the time of check in. This was very nice on their part. The hotel does not provide complimentary airport transfer. For your taxi service needs, approach taxi counter at the airport and cost only $9.00 per trip. The hotel disco and karaoke bars are famous as they are open very late night until 3:00 a.m or so. Cambodian girls are part and parcel with the whole karaoke experience, you can ask to see them all and pick the one(s) you want from a parade of ladies that is brought to you once you are seated in your private karaoke room. We came back to the hotel from the city late at night and there was still loud music and lots of freelancers and girls hanging around. So, you may think twice if you are planning to stay with family. Buffet breakfast is very average. I would infact give it a miss.

"Not Meant for Everybody.....But Good & Budget Hotel..."

6.0

Standard rooms for the price we paid. Booked directly @ $ 40 per night. Check in & out are smooth. Staffs are nice and friendly. Large room well furnished. AC worked well. Bath towels are very old and smelly. Breakfast is so...so...Only egg items are available after 9.30 am. Location near Wat Phnom, travel to river side cost you $ 2 (tuk-tuk ) and $ 9 for a premium taxi from airport to hotel, approx 30 min. A nightclub on ground floor and a KTV at level 3. I you are in lobby after 9 pm you can watch 'the fashion show".... Some time you can hear the music till 3 am from the disco. I will recommend this hotel if you are traveling alone or with friends for some night life activities.

"Nice Place"

8.0

We were in this hotel for two nights. The attention and professionalism was excellent. This must have been an upscale hotel in its time, but with today's competition it time may have passed. I would definite stay again and recommend it to friends.
