Felix River Kwai Resort

Hotel na pięknym terenie, z zadbanym ogrodem, nad samą rzeką Kwai, bardzo blisko mostu. Ogromny basen. Niestety hotel jest nieco stary, pokoje nie miały większego remontu od ok 25 lat. Było czysto i komfortowo, ale było czuć zużycie. Niemniej polecam.

Not a 4 star hotel I would say more like a 3 star. Very aged and could do with some upgrades… the pool and food in the main restaurant was great. Rooms nice big size but aged. Air con was terrible and couldn’t sleep due to room being very hot. I ngineer called at 1am and couldn’t resolve.

Good but not great,lovely river view room clean and tidy.but swim up bar nonexistent and a step up in pool that is not clearly identified everyone banged there shins.main problem is that during our 3 night stay hotel was taken over twice by thai buisness meetings staff totally ignored tourists my wife is thai and she didn't get any better treatment whilst meetings were on going not good enough.

Felix River Kwai Resort is a great location with great staff and comfortable, clean rooms. PROS: - Expansive resort with two great pools, spa, conference facilities, bikes, and more! - While it's got a lot of rooms, the grounds make the resort feel smaller and intimate. We thought there were maybe 20 guests when we stayed, but at breakfast there had to be at least 200-300! - Location! A 5 minute walk to the Bridge and main tourist area. Facilities are on the river, and facing lush greenery on the other side (you aren't looking at other resorts). - Occasional special events. One night they had a dinner cruise available. - Very good food. The dinner cruise food was great and varied, and the breakfast selection was expansive and high quality. Even the poolside food was tasty! (And we are picky eaters!) - Very clean, both on the grounds and in the rooms and public areas (even the public toilets!) - The room was spacious and comfortable. The mattress was great, the linens almost glowed white, the extras in the room (TV, desk, 2 chars and table, etc.) gave us options, and it included a balcony with lounge chairs overlooking the river. - The best was the service. The staff was attentive but not intrusive, friendly and helpful always, and genuinely warm. CONS: - The property is a little dated, but they keep it clean. The age shows mostly in some minor rotting trim wood at the roofline. - The price was fair, but not great given the age of the property. Bottom line: I'd stay again and not even look at other places! I also learned to ask for a 1st floor room with a river view - On the second and third floors sitting on the lounge chairs, the railing blocks the actual river view!

Excellent resort located in a great position in Kanchanaburi Has a river view room which was superb and the restaurant was excellent Great pool and wonderfull grounds...very impressed, will definetly come back Quiet and peacefull and just a charming place

Lovely hotel but just a little tired, went there for the location however the river bar was closed which was one of the main reasons we went to the hotel,

By looking online we thought we were going to love this resort. We couldn't have been more wrong! The bathroom is a total disaster! First there is a dangerous step down into the bathroom that is easily missed. Second, there wasn't any hot water or even warm water in the shower and when I turned on the faucet at the sink the water that came out was black. According to other guests, it did clear up after running for a while but I didn't bother to wait that long. I shut it off immediately and used bottled water. The whole bathroom needs updating! The pool is lovely but other than that don't bother staying here! We couldn't wait to check out!

I love staying at this hotel. Very peaceful and the staff can’t do enough for you. The main swimming pool is beautiful and clean, the walk along the river Kwai is lovely. The breakfast is amazing. I’ve stopped here a couple of times now and I will definitely be returning again.

This place is simply amazing, so quiet and peaceful you get the best night sleep in the most wonderful bed you can imagine. Golf cart from the reception lobby to your room and full bath and shower.

As previous reviews state, this hotel is very run down. It is kept clean but the infrastructure, decoration etc. is very shabby. The reception staff were not as welcoming as we usually experience in Thailand and the breakfast was poor. However, the reason I gave it 3 stars is that we had a peaceful nights sleep and for the position. Perfect location for a short walk to the bridge then over it to the little town on the other side of the river. I wouldn’t recommend eating in the hotel’s restaurant as very soulless but there are plenty of lovely places within walking distance.
