Unique hotel. Nice part of town. On a steep hill. Ubers do come to the front door of the hotel.

Beautiful property, friendly staff, and stunning views of the city and bay. The neighborhood is quiet, but close to all the main tourist attractions of old town Puerto Vallarta. Worth the steep climb!

Very original Mexican property with spacious rooms. The soundproofing was debatable but area was nice and quiet at night. The lack of coffee making equipment in room was unfortunate and breakfast was just sliced bread and some fruit. Highly recommend some fresh bread and pastries because the rooms rates are not cheap.

Mercedes is an awesome employee. We bought eggs and each morning she would cook whatever we wanted in addition to the provided fruit and toast. She was very personable. Chuey was great as well. As all the other reviewers mentioned, it’s definitely a climb, but if you want the fantastic view it’s worth it.

Not what it seems in the pictures. The add makes it looks like you have a view from your room and instead it's a back room with separate kitchen and outdoor area. Definitely the 1st bad experience we've had with Expedia. To the point I left and rented another place at double the cost

This property is in an area close to everything you need. The Malecon and all the restaurants are steps away. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Mercedes makes up a great breakfast as well. If you are looking for a gem away from the all inclusives, this would be a great choice. Just be aware that it is up a hill so the walk can be hard on some.

Buyer beware! We had to leave the property 30 minutes after checking in, due to the fact the hotel grossly misrepresented their rooms! What we saw on Expedia was NOTHING like what we encountered in person. The first room they took us to was up two flights of spiral stairs and had a palapa roof which they deemed as "air conditioning". The bathroom had mold on the wall as well. We complained and the front desk attendant called his manager, and then took us to another room. It was just OK, but at least had AC which is what the booking on Expedia said. The room he put my sister and her husband in was AWFUL and pretty much in the basement. The hotel was full and they had no other rooms to give us. Also, there are numerous small ponds in the hotel, which had standing water that looked dirty -- a breeding ground for mosquitoes! Lastly, the roof desk infinity pool is more like a dipping pool. It is narrow and maybe 20' long. More for cooling off, not swimming. We were so disappointed. With no manager on site, we had no choice but to leave and go to a hotel better suited to our taste and expectations.
