Luna Líquida Hotel Boutique

The property itself was very nice and so were Mercedes and Marcos who ran it. It is unsafe for elderly people. It requires you climb up and down many very steep stairs to get there. The roads and sidewalks are very broken up. Unfortunately I had to checkout when my husband arrived because he could not climb the stairs to get to the property. Although I changed my checkout date 3 days before, Expedia refused to refund me the difference although the owners of the hotel were fine with it.

This property is a very limited boutique hotel. The rooms are tiny (at least Sol 2 &3) and really are just one person rooms. The walk up to the property is very, very steep and good luck with the walk at night. The views from the pool area and breakfast room are very nice indeed. We wouldn't stay here again its just not a very relaxing hotel experience.

The staff is amazing. Mario, Jesus and female staff members were incredibly kind. A beautiful view of the bay while being served a continental breakfast Margaritas at night with fresh grapes from the roof top overlooking the bay. A perfect spot for a 180 degrees of the bay at NEW YEARS EVE

Towels are worn but rooms were clean and had nice views The staff is excellent and friendly but this is not a safe location for people with gait issues Steep doesn’t begin to describe the location You need to be a mountain goat

I would describe as a bed and breakfast. Very nice people, beautiful but not a resort like I expected from the pictures.

A very nice stay. This is a very large house that was or is owned by a famous person. It is on a steep road and the upper rooftop terrace and pool have a great view into the sea. The road leads directly onto the malecón. Fun walking down but a little strenuous going up. Take your time and enjoy the typical neighborhood.

We stayed in a room called Corizon 2 with a dedicated kitchen and dining area for one week. The things we liked: 1) Large room with comfortable beds 2) The three common areas were very clean. 3) The views of the ocean were stunning. Things we didn’t like: 1) Had to remind staff at least three times to clean our room and change the towels. 2) Our room was not clean compared to the common areas. We could tell the floors were not washed most of the time. 3) Had a cockroach and ants everywhere in our room. 4) Our dedicated patio was not clean enough to eat off of. 5) The patio was closed in, down a series of concrete steps, gravel walkway, bridge, and finally metal circular stairs into a dirty, musty smelling 'patio'. 6) Bathroom had a broken light, broken hot water knob in sink, and broken bathroom towel rack.

Staff spoke no English, toilets backing up NO plunger on site…. Pool was filthy, pool chairs they had 4 and 2 were broken …

This place was unbelievable. Highly recommended would love to go back. The pictures and videos of this place does not do it justice. Staff was so friendly and Mercedes went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
