Hotel Costa del Sol

Terrible. Have old rooms and the air conditioned not working. Don’t have shampoo, conditioner and everything. This hotel not good for me.

Older hotel, rooms are pretty bare and the bathrooms are quite dated. This is a decent option if you are on a bare-bones budget otherwise there are probably better hotel options nearby for only a bit more money. They do have 2 pools - one on the 4th floor and one on the roof.

Disgusting. I found a bed bug. The elevators smell like mold. One room smelled like fumes and looked like it had not been used or cleaned in ages and was dingy. I requested a change. The next room the windows were nailed shut. I asked the staff to give me a refund, they moved me to their sister hotel Cartagna Premium. This place was better. You get what you pay for in Cartagena. Better to spend $60- 70 on a place in Getsemania. Take a taxi out to the beaches or take day trips to the nicer beaches Boca Grande is not conveniently located. Not walking distance because the traffic is really hard to cross. Only stay in Boca Grande if you really really want a hotel with a pool.. But be willing to spend a bit more at a nicer place.

Bad rooms, bad bathroom , the safe dont work, good location close to the brach

This place can't be considered a hotel. I had to book a hotel immediately for me and my wife and we went to do the check in, it was another story. They couldn't find the reservation, then I had to pay a refundable security deposit because of the problem with the reservation. The smell on the lobby, near the elevators, was something out of this world. The room had no shower curtain, so room floor got wet, a/c was noisy, room and hotel need a super major renovation. Free breakfast, lunch and dinner was ok. If hotel doesn't get renovated, there is no chance to go back to this place. At least the staff was friendly.

Building is too old, elevator is scary, swimming pool was nice, staff as well. Didn't regret of my choice but I won't stay there again.

The worst stay ever in my whole life. I’ve been around the world but never seen something like it. A big tall Impresive building in front of the beach but rotten old filthy indoor. Just by arriving at the lobby and the elevator you can tell by the bad smell how clean it is. Room with roaches, old furniture smell, noisy AC that disturbs your tranquility, a water leak in the bathroom from the upper floor, old bedding sheets, hard mattresses, no carpet, short window curtains and two tiny old bathroom towels! Unbelievable! It’s horrible! Run away from it unless you don’t have enough money to book others around it. I made a huge mistake by booking this hotel at the last minute after previously staying at the Hampton. It was so disgusting that I didn’t even have breakfast. If the rooms are filthy, I can’t even imagine the kitchen. I tried 3 rooms after I complained. They were all on the six floor but no better than mine! Room 617! Good luck if you can’t afford a better hotel! The owners are not investing a dime on it because their money is going to another hotel tower they are building nearby! What a shame!!!

Please please don't even want your money to save a couple bucks to stay in this hotel. This was the horrible , terrible mistake that ever did to booked on this hotel, the food is horrible, the service terrible, there is bed bugs, no towel, no clean and not service in conclusion the U.S or any motel is better than this hotel. My advice is pay more money on another hotel for your convenience in Cartagena.

it was OK. hotel looks old. location was great.

Used this hotel for a 1 night stay. A little out of date, but the room was clean, a/c worked great, and had hot water. A great little place for budget travellers
