It would have been handy if the reverse cycle system was already set to warm as unseasonably cold in Auckland

Decent car park, great sized room, good heatpump, nice little kitchenette and table with fold out couch + standalone wardrobe. Comfy bed and Google chrome cast. Bathroom, bed, kitchen etc all very clean. Staff members were super accommodating and pleasant to talk with.

Huge patch of mould on the ceiling directly above pillows/bed - no way this was missed during room cleanings. Same with hallway. We shared our room with about 6 spiders too so a bug spray might go a long way 😅 Only other complaint would be that the shampoo/body wash came in a huge pile of little plastic bottles, and there was no recycling bin so not very environmentally conscious motel.
