Jailhouse Accommodation

- Hostel ist im alten Gefägnis und sie haben den Styl gut erhalten - Küche ist sauber - Lage ist super - Betten sind bequem

- Mein Bett war mitten im Schlafsaal, hatte keine eigene Steckdose oder Vorhang. Also gar keine Privatsphäre und für das Laden muss man in den Aufenthaltsbereich - Personal ist kaum da und wenn sie dann mal da sind, dann auch eher mit ihren Handys beschäftigt - Zu wenige Toiletten + Duschen für die Menge Leute die dort sind

Bylo fajn si zkusit spat ve věznici, byly tam i ukázkové cely jak to kdysi vypadalo za me super zkušenost, všude na recepci měli typy kam jit ma jídlo ci aktivity co navštívit ve městě.

Prodloužil jsem si pobyt o jednu noc a večer jsem musel psat e- mail aby mi poslali novy kód ke dveřím, ale ihned mi odpověděli a poslali kód. Zřejmě byly vytížení..

Basic accommodation, but fun place to stay considering it was once a fully working jailhouse.

I can't really say there was anything I disliked as it is what it's described as and a part of the experience... if I could say one thing, maybe the bathrooms/ toilets.

Recently stayed here while over in Christchurch and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was friendly, relaxed and very welcoming. Even though the rooms are compact original jail cells, the high ceilings made them feel comfortable and we both slept extremely well. Everything was spotless, including the shared bathrooms and kitchen areas, and the electronic keypad access made the place feel very secure. There were plenty of comfortable areas to relax, and the whole place has an amazing mix of history and character while still feeling modern and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and honestly preferred it over a standard motel. A really memorable experience.
