The hotel was great. Wifi was good which was important. For me while travelling for work. The gym was also large and well equipped. Breakfast had lots of choice both Western and Chinese. Most of the staff speak strong or good enough English to communicate with English speaking guests. I always stay at the Sheraton in Tianjin!!

Had a short stay at the hotel and everything worked great. The facilities was okay for the price, nothing too exciting, but the staff was friendly which made it a pleasant experience.

Everyone was very nice and the variety of food at breakfast was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed in the Sheraton 24hrs , hotel was amazing , clean and good choice in feast amazing .. staff member Gulian Li a young man at front desk spoke excellent English and helped over and above the norm . Great hotel fab stay , room big and hotel staff very helpful

I stayed here for two nights recently on a trip to Binhai. The Sheraton is large and functional. Whilst the rooms were a little dated everything was as it should be and the shower good and bed comfortable. The wifi as noted already isnt the best but this is China, so be it, expect to have to come out and reboot everything a couple of times each day but first world problems really. Breakfast each day was solid, plenty of choices, the first night we ate Chinese food in the hotel - very good and familiar to our Western palates, the second night we had pizza in the Italian which was cooked in the pizza over - very nice. The mall across the street has many dining options also - from Starbucks to McDonalds to Pizza and great Chinese food should you want. When booking it was a straight toss up between here and the Holiday Inn down the road and from talking with people staying here we made the right choice.

Located within TEDA and just opposite Isetan for shopping with good dining options. Hotel is a good for the business traveler, nice facilities with gym, spa and indoor pool/ sauna. A bit old but still well maintained. Service was prompt and friendly. Rooms were well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Didn't lack for anything. A typical Sheraton hotel overall, comfortable, efficient but not necessarily luxurious.

Stayed for one night. Nice & clean comfortable rooms. Dinner at Multi cuisine international Restaurant was very good. I went for dinner with a group of 10. Everyone was happy with food as well as service.

The A/C did not work. The tentative in the room was ~27 deg c. They were not able to fix it. I had to keep the window open to cool the room down. The WiFi is very unreliable. I had trouble connecting and when connected it was slow. Gym was OK. Breakfast-spread was good.

Booked a standard room and checked in as gold elite but was upgraded to club floor with access to lounge. The receptionist never made mention of any of these upgrades so I was confused with all of the generosity. It was much appreciated but I just thought they made a mistake. Club lounge keys didn't work for both me and my coworker and so we had to double confirm it. There were just coffee and snacks late at night. Following evening was an enjoyable experience at the lounge. The attendant was nice and we chatted for a bit. The ambiance at the lounge is also very nice, much appreciated. 7.5 out of 10. Room was nice, probably a 8 out of 10. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was large enough with a nice bathroom. Breakfast at the all day dining restaurant Feast was also not bad, probably 6.5 out of 10. Nice local specialties and attentive servers. Sauna/Gym: 0 out of 10. Stayed 2 nights and the sauna the first morning was completely off, along with the steamroom. When asked, the attendant just looked at me like I was crazy, saying we don't turn it on until noon. I asked for them to turn it on at 6 AM for the following morning. No guarantees just a blank stare (requested in fluent Chinese mandarin mind you, not in a foreign language). Next morning the sauna is set to 55 degrees celsius. It felt like I was just sitting in a room without AC on a hot day. No sweat and a complete waste of time. Didn't check out the gym because I was sick this trip. The lack of help or understanding here really disappointed me. Overall, I'd skip this hotel on the next trip. I'd pay $20 more per night for a better experience somewhere else.

I just left this hotel for beijing due to the Chinese New year human traffic in airport and also on the road. I notice a small change in this hotel where more staffs come forward of help the guests and more warm greetings!! compared to last visit, there is none. Esply this guy Den who is friendly. He makes his round in the morning with smiles to breakfast counter and also lobby to greet his guest to work or bid farewell. so nice gesture with a personnel touch. he is also in the lobby even at 8pm.. service I believe has improved and staffs walks around to help with luggages and etc. it is different from last visit. keep up the good work!! Keep your smiles in this cold weather.. !!
