Crowne Plaza Tianjin Binhai Center by IHG

I stayed over for a week at this hotel for business in January 2019. 1. Location ---------------- There is a Lifestyle Mall across the road from the hotel, where you can find an Isetan Supermarket, restaurants, Starbucks, a Watsons and a host of other eateries. Very convenient for me since this was a working trip and I didn't have time to run off too far to find food. 2. Front desk ------------------- Surprisingly, not all the front desk personnel speak basic English. We struggled a bit until they waved over one of the supervisors to help translate. The staff though were very friendly and patient. 3. The Room ------------------- I had a Deluxe King Bed room which was bright, clean and relatively quiet. The bed made for a very comfortable sleep for the one week that I was there and noise level was very minimal. 4. Buffet breakfast -------------------------- I loved the selection they had at breakfast. You have a full spread of all types of meats, fruits, yoghurt, breads, juices etc. Every morning was a delight to wake up and try something new from the breakfast line up.

We held a conference here for about 30 colleagues from various countries. All meals were excellent. Breakfast buffet was specially good. Rooms are up to date with furniture with very comfortable bed. The conference hall and associated services were excellent. Very accommodating staff made us feel at home.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. I did not have breakfast there so I could not comment on it but there are many good restaurants around.

I had a great stay. The hotel was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable. As a non-Chinese business traveler, the staff were kind and helpful. The area was good. There is a mall across the street with lots of food options. It is over an hour from the airport but if you are okay with that, it is a great place to stay.

My first time to visit Tianjin, this is a very friendly hotel with very helpful staff. I would like to mention one person who really showed true hospitality during our stay. Miss Lana Dou who we met in the lobby was very kind to share some information about places to visit in Tianjin with a big smile. She certainly was very proud of her city. The hotel has a very good breakfast selection and overall service is good. I certainly will recommend this hotel to friends

The hotel property is nice. Rooms are spacious. Interior is good. Staff is courteous and importantly can speak English. Food is good, specially the buffet dinner. Good to see Indian dishes in menu. Met Indian chef Rohit, who was cheerful. Love counter of grill was very nice.

Spent a week with the Family. Great downtown location, fantastic restaurants even great Italian , no language problems and mixed the locals having their celebrations . Blue skies and hope to be back..

Good hotel. Nice place to stay. However, no wow factor.

The hotel provided a service which is expected of Sheraton. The room was comfortable, the staff polite. The staff at restaurant called Feast were extremely nice and courteous. The food could be better if it had more healthy options like vegetarian.

Context: Staying for 2 nights on business. When checked in, was assigned a smoking room. Why 5-star hotel still have smoking rooms is beyond me. I asked to be move to a different room. The hotel did comply, and the room at 18th floor is much better. Room: Large, well equipped. Lots and lots of marble. Have kinda an old world charm to it. Dining: Ate at Yue - the inhouse chinese restaurant. Portion is large, a bit expensive, but it is a hotel restaurant. Breakfast buffet spread is good and high quality. Staff: Everyone is nice. There's some language barrier, but it is to be expected. Minus: The smoking room assignment - and the fact that Sheraton still offers smoking rooms. I know that smoking is still pretty rampant in mainland China, but SPG should have gone all out and make their properties 100% smoke free worldwide.
