Résidence Club mmv Isola 2000 Les Terrasses d'Isola

Great stay in MMV Les Terraces. The skiing was great. 4 person apartment was very comfortable but could be a bit cramped if you have 4 adults in it. Very nicely finished. For those skiing its about a 5 minute walk to the piste, we invested in a ski locker closer to the slopes which made life much easier as there was no carrying heavy skis etc to and from the piste. The staff we friendly and helpful. Fully recommend these apartments.

The room (actually that was one bedroom apartment) was great! You can find everything you need. And location is just perfect!! Those were all about the positive sides. The SPA services are not as good as expected -the water in swimming pool was hardly warm what wasn't expected after the whole day on cold street. The jacuzzi over loaded with people. And one of the hammam was not hot enough as well :(( We were expected to have some good relaxing time in SPA area after the cold day outside but unfortunately we had to end up in hot shower in the room that was the best option.

Arrived at Nice Airport 10am hoping to transfer to Isola2000 by bus but must have viewed the wrong t/table as the next one wasn’t for another 6hrs! Lots of to-ing’n’fro-ing but got a hire car (thx to the exceptional lady at Citer). Nav-skills went AWOL & so didn’t arrive at Club MMV until 18:30, just before front desk closed at 19:00 (check what process is if arriving out of hours). The flat was in a reasonably clean & tidy state & was mix of newly refurb’d contemporary (kitchen and bathroom) & the tired looking (mainly the separate toilet). Two (inc. towel rad) of the four heaters didn’t work & despite attempts of the handyman, never did. In fairness, the place wasn’t cold but their absence was evident. The kitchen had just about everything..except a kettle. Despite promises from the front desk we never received one. Totally unacceptable! The bed and sofabed were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever had the displeasure of sleeping on & none of us had a decent night sleep there–though this was more an issue of the flat vibe than the dire beds. Flat cleaned once but at the end of our stay(!) Never checked out the facilities so can’t comment on them. Club MMV is a short walk (around 10mins in boots) to Front Neige. Isola2000 is great small resort for families with lovely quiet runs. Unfortunately, I can’t give recommendation for Club MV. But can’t I dismiss it as bad. Go with your eyes open and you shouldn’t be disappointed. Just don’t take the room we had....

It was perfect location, great amount of space for 6 people for a comfortable stay for the weekend. few minutes walk downhill to the slope and ski back to the apartments to within 100m metres.

2 nice Bathrooms, 3 Bedrooms including an excellent sofa bed in lounge.Great views, clean and good location. No frilsl service more like a apartment rental with a reception desk open a few hours a day.

Lots of room but basic equipement! A bit of a walk to the central station so will have to rent lockers to store skis. So a basic apartment and not a hotel as advertised.

All good, easy walk to slopes, use Skimium for ski hire as closest to hotel, only issue wifi didn't work. Pool facilities very clean , does what it says on the tin.

Very happy with the room and facilities.

The hotel, reception is manned 8am-11am. 4pm-8pm the receptionist was very helpfull and efficent The room was quite basic and didnt have a tv saying that the 4person was adaquate for 2people, there is a hot plate but no oven only microwave

Chose hotel based on 2012 positive experience : willing to pay higher rate for facilities such as pool - new owners in 2013 : all facilities to be paid for extra - eg €14 per hour per adult person for pool facilities : for family of 2adults and 2children thus costing an extra € 40/day; that's almost a 50% increase on the cost of the stay file a week - a rip off ( website doesn't make it clear that it is a cost per hour and this was added since we booked) . Hotel staff could not offer a family or weekly rate and were not willing to follow up with hotel management. Linen and cleaning also now extra unlike 2012 when included. Hotel is not on slopes but went for it for facilities Especially pool after a hard days skiing. Would not recommend going forward. ( bath not cleaned and broken heater in room as well ) hotel is trading on old positive ratings - all 2013 ratings are low.
