"Great for Tongariro Crossing hike"

Excellent location for Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike - hotel reception team booked us a shuttle when we arrived. Room itself was nice enough and comfortable for our stay. We didn't use the jacuzzi but think that's a nice touch for those finishing a hike.

The restaurant onsite was underwhelming - would recommend eating elsewhere if possible. It would be great if the shared outdoor courtyard had more seating as there was only a few chairs.
